Golden Pathways Retreat and B&B

.... Otherwise we wouldn't have discovered this gem! Was in town from Ottawa for a wedding. Three months out from the date, the bride informs us that due to tournaments in town, most the hotels were booking up. To my dismay, she was right - so we started to look for alternative options. Looking to try our first B&B and take more rural accommodations to get in whatever relaxation we could, the Golden Pathways was booked. Just a short drive from the Canoe Museum the wedding was at, Cora and her B&B did not dial to impress! The large Ferndale room was lovely and washroom adjacent was beautiful with a soaker tub (wish I had time to try it!). The commons space, extra large kitchen, patio and grounds were the perfect balance of nature and comfort. Breakfast the next morning on the deck exceeded all expectations and featured (fantastic) coffee, market fresh fruits, and items from Cora's own garden. Speaking to friends after the wedding who stayed at a few different hotels in town, they all regretted not considering such an option as they were underwhelmed by thier hotel experiences. We will definately be back, but in vacation mode so we can take to time to explore more of what the region has to offer. Thanks Cora!
