It is not the most modern Motel around but it is clean and the staff is very friendly.  Right across the street from Timmys and just down the road are numerous restaurants and pubs (all with good food)  The rooms are clean and smoking is permitted outside.
Always a nice stay

pleasant stay at the Belair Motel . Clean, comfortable  quiet and convenient! Close to shopping and downtown    Very friendly and accommodating staff, and unbeatable rates. Very happy! Thank you, We shall return. :)

Inexpensive - great staff

pleasant stay!

We were in Penticton for the Thanksgiving long weekend, Oct. 8 & 9.  Our relatives had several out of towners to accomodate.  This motel was 10 steps from their home.  The rooms/facilities are very dated but the sheets were clean and so was the bathroom.  The front office/grounds staff were friendly.  This motel wasn't high end but nor was the room rate.  We met other people who were there for a wine festival and they also had no complaints.  Again, not The Ritz but it served our purposes perfectly.

Overall just a very yucky experince. Roomfelt very dirty,even though it wasn't disgustingly so. Also very smokey - even though non smoking and threaten a fine - they provide chairs and ashtrays right beside every door - people on both sides of  us smoked continuously(4 beside us - and many others down the row)  so our room was bombarded due to lack of proper door/window seals. Due to amount of smokers we choose not to partake of the use of the pools,bbq's etc and went down to the lake instead - much better environment and FRESH AIR!

Gross is the only word I can think of

want plan to return, once was enough.  Front staff not the most welcoming, pool was freezing as owner wouldn't pay to put heating on.
