The B&B is very nice. The hosts are very friendly & welcoming. If you do not mind sharing the washrooms/bathrooms, with the other guests, then this B&B is wonderful. Very clean place and the location is perfect for who are going whale watching. It is literally very close to the cruise.

Whale watching

Excellent stay, our guests are so warm and caring with us, they adapt to our needs and feel at home. What about a delicious breakfast and sweet hot chocolate? I recommend without hesitation.

It's like home!

Germaine and Momo were remarkable guests both for their kindness, availability and precious advice (zodiac exit, the Black Dot, Sam's restaurant...). The room was perfect and clean.

It was a great four-night stay at St. Catherine's Bay near Tadoussac.

We were a group of four and spent one night at the Gite between Whales and Clocher. The house is super cute and offers a beautiful view of the Bay. The rooms are small, but it does its charm. The hospitality is very welcoming, she wants her guests to have a nice stay. We had a kayak/whale expedition to the Bergeronnes the next morning, we had to leave the Gite at 6:45. She made an exception and served us breakfast at sunrise. She is a full and very good lunch! The view for breakfast from the dining room is great. I only forgot my bottom shoes, I made it when I got back to Montreal. She was very attracted to me by the post office. She understood and that the accommodations at Tadoussaux are all tourist.

A welcoming hospitality and a charming ride

We've spent two nights in this hostel. The host is way too intrusive. She stays downstairs watching all your movements. Here there are no room keys (she goes in when you're not there to make the bed again). No room keys, she opens and closes according to your entrances and exits. No privacy! Of course she talks to you all the time and especially at breakfast! She will cut off your speech if you talk to other people and you're not interested in her. She wants to receive phone calls at breakfast for booking requests. All this without any discretion. At every booking she ends up asking you how much noise your basement has. And when she's in the basement of the house, she doesn't talk to you because she's not in the corner of the house, and she doesn't come to the bathroom. If she doesn't come to the bathroom, she's already on the 8th floor and she doesn't understand the noise. If she doesn't come to the bathroom, she doesn't come to the bathroom. Invading host

We spent the night at Germaine's. The location is perfect in St. Catherine's Bay right next to Tadoussac and its famous cruises. The rooms are small but tidy. There are two common bathrooms. The homemade breakfast is very good. Germaine is a very nice hotel.

It's a nice place.

The room was so small that the bed was taking all the place :( We asked if it was ok to cancel and the woman told us that everything was ok. 1 week later, we found out that she charged us 3 complete nights!!! Don't go there!!!

Bad experience...

Had a very pleasant stay here after a jaunt on the (free) ferry over to Tadoussac. Clean and comfortable, homey. Lovely breakfast, the owner here aims to please. Right on the main highway, easy to find and free parking. If you want to spend an evening with locals, visit and learn a bit more than guide books tell, this is the place. Ask for the room with a view!
