Great stay, clean and close to everything

Beautiful ambience, great location, clean facility, helpful staff, peaceful and quiet units.

Great hotel in a convenience location close to all amenities including transit! Very affordable and great for solo travels. Would stay again.

Property was excellent -However the check-in process is electronic and requires the scanning of a personal ID - this made me nervous considering the risk of personal information being divulged to other parties or identify theft.

Great location, great apartment and facilities, friendly and helpful staff, good price

Great location 10 minute walk to parliament hill and shopping center local restaurant, bars in walking distance good transport links

Hotel room was cute and homey.  In a great location.  Would definitely stay here again!

Great for business travel. Extremely comfortable bed and I love the separate thermostat for the bedroom. Having a den to set up a workstation was also fantastic. The suites are really well laid out with good furniture and a logical set up.Would only recommend that Sonder invest in higher quality irons and ironing boards.

The only things I would note would be the exterior noise if traffic was louder than I expected. Perhaps with a door to bakcony and 2 windows ut is more orone to that. (I am a light sleeper).  Even though there were alit if electrical plugs sometimes they were unaccessible due to furniture and mirrors. We carry power vars with iur laptops so we made it work.

Overall Goid Stay

I had a very restful 2 nights at Sonder Arlo. I arrived too early to check in, but I was able to do some work in the lounge, and then use the gym. By the time I was done in the gym, my room was ready (early check in) so I went straight up to have a shower.I really appreciated being able to check in when the room was ready, rather than being told that I still have to wait until 4pm.The kitchenette was great for making meals, and the bed was very comfortable. I do have a suggestion though: shower robes would be a great addition to the room, especially at the price point.

Of all the hotels I’ve stayed at this year, this was by far the best, especially given the price. The room was very spacious, with a large kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was comfortable.The virtual check in process was simple and amazing. The app is well designed, easy to navigate and the functionality to allow guests to unlock the front/ room doors using a mobile key on the app (and add it to the phone Lock Screen as a widget) was brilliant. Didn’t deal with a single person during my stay which was great - didn’t need to! The ability to communicate check in/ checkout times and adjust it was also seamless and helpful. The amenities, especially the gym was excellent.  The location of this particular place was excellent. No parking which was not the most convenient but it was also Ottawa which was expected.Overall, only praise!

Great location downtown Ottawa, very comfortable suite, great bed and amenities in the unit. Kitchen was well equipped too. Loved that we could walk to Parliament Hill, the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa Art Gallery, even in the snow! Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. 2nd time staying at 2 different Sonders, will be back!

Sonder Ottawa a Must for Us!

Went for weekend skate on the canal and the location was perfect. Room is very basic but well equipped and comfortable. The desk attendees were very helpful even though it’s mainly a self serve concept. Wanted to watch some curling on TSN but streaming service did not work. Downtown very quiet on weekends but lots of options within 15 minute walk.

Very comfortable and convenient

Convenient location-close to Rideau canal for skating, Sparks St, Parliament bldgs, Byward market, etc. Clean and comfortable unit.  Wobbly table was a little annoying.Constant fan noise from bathroom and heating unit was noisy.  Earplugs were provided but ineffective.Inconvenient to not have on site parkingOverall a nice place to stay

Our stay was wonderful, the kitchen and the appliances came in handy and even though we booked the smaller room, it was still very spacious. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. We noticed a small tear in the sheets but not a big deal, the bed was comfortable and we had a good night’s rest. The only thing is that the walls are very thin, but I think they realized this because we were provided with some ear plugs by our bedside table. The free luggage lockers were very thoughtful and we appreciated this as this allowed us to store our luggage while we went exploring the town before catching the train home, may I mention, AFTER we checked out too. We also loved the foosball table in the game room. The app made it so easy to check in, ask questions, and check out. We’ll definitely stay here again, and look forward to staying at other Sonder properties in the future!

The staff on site were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating but i also liked that through the app, i had the option and convenience of doing most things on my own (check in/out, etc.) but having a staffed desk added a layer of security and piece of mind to the property and overall experience. luggage storage lockers were great and extra amenity rooms were modern and clean.

Very clean. The junior suite was small but had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with place settings for six, a fridge and oven and even a small dishwasher.  I like the mobile key in the app - no keys to lose. There are lockers to store your baggage after you check out, which is very convenient.  Walking distance to Parliament, the Roger’s Centre, the Rideau Canal and many other attractions.
