everything was amazing, very clean and they kept everything perfect the breakfast was amazing and the owners are also very good at baking they always leave cookies for you, there is also a wonderful park walking distance that is beautifal. This bed and breakfast is amazing and we will deffinetly come back if we ever come back to Ottawa.

We loved staying here! We arrived in Ottawa after midnight and still Paul waited up to welcome us. He showed us our cozy room with large, clean bath across the hall that was for our exclusive use. In the morning we could enjoy the unique ambiance of the home.  There were lots of interesting collections and antiques, etc. to enjoy around us.
Soft music played in the background. And then, there were the stories that the hosts were happy to share. Like professional hosts they take their time to judge whether you just want to be left alone or are eager to chat. We are the latter and wouldn't be in bnb's if we weren't. We enjoyed sharing the breakfast table with other guests, also. The breakfasts, as people mentioned, were wonderful. Each day a different menu was on the table telling us what today's offering would be.  Cynthia sent us to the 'best' pizza parlour and we were glad we could walk as we didn't pick up our car until our 3rd day. The bus was convenient for our trip into town. If we were ever in Ottawa again, this would be our home away from home! Thank you, Cynthia and Paul.

Shirley Samantha is a very lucky stuffed doll that lives with Cynthia and Paul at their wonderful B&B.  Everything here is clean and welcoming.  The location is convenient to downtown if you are up to a moderately-long walk.  If not, the bus runs every 15-20 minutes from about a block away.  Breakfast was delicious, with every detail nicely done.  Knowledgeable about the city and beyond, we got excellent recommendations for things to do from our hosts, including maps and brochures.  Homemade cookies and soft drinks are always available.   In summary, the place is great and the price is right.

We stayed four nights and were treated to a delicious and different breakfast each morning after and quiet, comfortable sleep.  There is a study with homemade cookies and a small fridge stocked with cool drinks at the end of a long day of sight seeing (or helping a relative move).  The price was right, especially considering we stayed during a busy long weekend.  Our room didn't have air conditioning but the main floor did and it was pleasant throughout the house.

A Welcoming, Comfortable Place

Wonderful place to stay it you're visiting Ottawa.  It's great to get knowledgeable information on getting around the cycling routes in the city and Paul knows them all.
Cynthia does a great job for breakfast; something different every day!  The bed is comfortable and everything is so clean.  Location is close to downtown Byward Market, Sparks Street etc.
