Well equipped and luxurious apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, within walking distance of central St John's. It has a separate living area, a great bathroom with tub and shower, plus off road parking and a full sized fridge. We really enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I had a great stay at Bannerman Park Suites during our visit to SJ this past weekend. The room was very spacious and clean when we arrived. The location is great with lots of good spots within close walking distance and basically all of downtown St Johns within a 20-25 minute walk. We will definitely stay here again during our next visit. 
Michael was an excellent host/GM of the property and truly went above and beyond with helping us with recommendations, places to see and other suggestions. He even took us out on a little tour as we didn't have a car! Very generous with his time for anything needed. 
SJ is a wonderful place full of great people, excellent food, great bars, lots of good breweries popping up and lots to see. A hike up signal hill along the lower path and over to Quidi Vidi are a must on any visit.

We stayed 5 days in St John's at the end of a 2 week trip to NL. The apartment was across from the park and quiet, and far enough from downtown that it was quiet but also a 15' walk to Water St restaurants. We stayed in room 101 on the ground floor where the king stayed many years ago. The room was spacious with separate bedroom and sitting areas, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was luxurious, and the kitchenette facilities were perfect for making breakfast and lunch. Much nicer than a hotel room. WiFi and television worked very well. Michael was very friendly and responsive and took care of issues promptly. We would definitely stay here during our next NL visit.

Beautifully situated, lovely old converted manor home was very comfortable and a joy to visit. Hosts were perfectly delightful.  Loved every minute and can’t recommend it highly enough. Surprisingly wonderful time of testy I visit St John’s.

Had a most brilliant stay. Our suite (301) was fabulous. The location is perfect for getting just about everywhere easily either on foot or by car. Can’t wait to go back and will stay at Bannerman Park Suites again...can’t recommend it enough.

What a fantastic home base to explore St. John’s! Close to everything, so the walkability is fantastic...and our rooms were so cozy, comfortable and well appointed! Slept like a baby, listening only to the wind! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

King double room at the front of the building, has sliding doors which separate off the living room area.  Built in early 1900's, the house has (what look like) original floors, mouldings, light fixtures, etc. This is the room that Prince Charles stayed in on his last visit to St. John's.  Lovely decor, although a bit short on closet space if you are staying a while.  Bathroom gleaming and a shower large enough for half a dozen people. I recommend this place for business; I was able to conduct interviews in the living room, by closing off the bedroom area.  Michelle, who runs the place was very accommodating. Parking in the rear of the building.  Even though the road was busy, there was no issue with road noises. Will happily stay here again. The Inn faces a small park, nice for an evening stroll. Restaurants are a short taxi ride away. There is one good coffee shop close by, but open during the day only.

Stayed at Bannerman Park for 3 nights when we first arrived in St. John’s and 2 weeks later on our last night in Newfoundland.

Our suite was spacious and reasonably well equipped. Stayed in a King suite with small kitchenette, very comfortable and big bed in a separate bedroom with a claw foot soaker tub and shower in the ensuite.

Michelle, the manager, was very helpful and accommodating of our booking changes and easy to reach with the questions and requests we had during our stay.

Bannerman is a short walk to the bars and restaurants on Duckworth and Water streets, Quidi Vidi and Signal Hill.

Very much enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The kitchen has everything you would need and there is parking available if you require. Short walk to downtown. Good value. Check in is easy and secure. Communication with hostess is easily and quickly done via text. Very comfortable. 

Really enjoyed our stay here with friends, close to downtown yet far enough away. Michelle was very friendly and spent time with us answering questions about the history of the building. Comfortable bed, good coffee and a lovely park to take a stroll right across the road.

The down side was no breakfast !!
We did have to go up stairs with our luggage to access the room. Fortunately, there was someone there to help with our bags.
St. John has a lot. To offer. Fine dining and shopping. A nice place to visit.
