Foxingham Farm Bed and Breakfast

Pulling up the driveway I knew this was exactly what we needed. A beautiful little farm house nestled beside trees on a large country property. We were immediately greeted by Martin's warm smile. We asked if we could play Bocce he pointed out a perfect big lawn with an apple tree then took us on a small tour of the house. The left wing is mainly used by the guests apart from office which is used by Martin's wife in the weekday mornings. There is a beautifully appointed living room done in a French provence style which has a TV with Netflix, a gas fireplace, original windows with nice views, overall it's very romantic and clean. The bedrooms are upstairs, each one has its own theme and are very cute. The bathroom is shared but we didn't see the other couple until the next day. The bathroom is updated and has a large bathtub separate from the shower. There is a mini fridge in hallway as well. We stayed two nights and the second night we were the only guests. Breakfast was nice and simple fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, bagles and cream cheese was also offered...oh and coffee and tea. We had a wonderful peaceful stay, watching Netflix. Playing Bocce, reading, hiking the property down to the river, driving to creemore. We also enjoyed meeting Manie their little white doggy. Which is usually kept in the right wing of the home. The atmosphere and intriguing conversations of travel were second to none. Martin was a perfect host, I can say out of all my travels around the world he is by for the best.
