Trillium Suites - Mississauga

This is the first time I had stayed at this type of accommodation. It is a condo unit in a building where many if not most occupants are residents. I needed a place in Mississauga where I could prepare meals and be able to walk to stores and restaurants.The mall is about a half a mile away, an easy walk. There are parks nearby and the airport is about 10 miles or so away. Close to the freeway and bus station to Toronto downtown. It is also about an hour away from Niagara Falls. Location is spot on. Shahid, the manager was very helpful and attentive to all our requests and inquiries (including staying late the day we left). He always answered his phone and email promptly and accommodated our requests. When I am back in the area and need similar accommodation, I most likely would ask Shahid to find me a unit. The building has a beautifully appointed boutique-like lobby, heated indoor pool, card room, party room, simulated golf, movie room. (See photos.) Outside there is a tennis court and BBQ. We did not get to use outdoor amenities because it was still cold when we came. Amenities offered are great. There is a security officer and the front doors are locked 24/7 and can only be accessed by residents or opened by the front desk receptionist/security. Underground parking is also secure. The unit itself has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a living room, a dining area, and a kitchen. Decor is similar to Ikea. The master bedroom has a walk in closet. (See photos of the unit.) Calls to the US and within Canada are free, cable with all the trimmings, and there's wifi albeit spotty at certain times. I gave 4 stars because it met what we were looking for at such a very reasonable price, we enjoyed our time, the amenities were wonderful, and Shahid, the manager was attentive and very easy to work with. Replacing/updating some of the kitchen utensils/dining chairs, general maintenance stuff, will make this a 5. I understand that people rent the place and may not take care of things, thus some of the items are in the state they are in. I suggest bringing your own towels or maybe request extra from management prior to arrival.
