We stayed in the RV park which is small and well run. It was very quiet and the view is amazing! The sites have space between them which is always a plus. Lisa (the owner) was very friendly and helpful. There is also good internet and disc golf available on site. We will definitely be back!

Cannot say enough good things. We recently had our wedding on the property and the overall experience was amazing. Lisa the manager was absolutely wonderful and fantastic to work with. She went above and beyond and made my wedding weekend seamless and memorable. My husband and I stayed in cabin 5 which was BEAUTIFUL- It was so comfortable and clean, we didn't want to leave. My guests stayed in all the other cabins and loved their experience as well. If you're looking for a little get away, or a spot to have a summer wedding, I highly recommend here. 

We camped here for 2 night. It was quiet and clean with a spectacular view. Close to the ocean and hiking trails and would have stayed a night or two more if we had had the time. Lisa was great and extremely accommodating!!! We came in late from the Prince Rupert ferry and she left us a welcoming note letting us know all we needed to know for that night. We know where to stay when we are back in that neck of the woods!

Had to spend a night and wanted something nicer than the run of the mill small town motels. Found the website interesting and when i called Lisa was very accommodating. Booked the newest cottage and frankly was blown away. On par with the best anywhere. She hasnt missed a beat.
If you are looking for something quiet, lovely, great water view, this is it.

A few KM’s out of town but that adds to the charm.

Very good located resort in Port McNeill, with a high quality standard compared to other Hotels in the area. 
2mx2m bed, very warm lodge with everything you need to cook and rest peacefully. 
The balcony had a great view on the sea above!
Highly recommended for a couple of days.

I'm almost hesitant to write this review, as I would love this place to stay my secret--but WOW!! what a great stay!! We stayed in cabin 5 for two nights after a few nights of kayaking/camping, and it was the perfect end to our time up north island. I wish I'd known about this place on previous trips up there! Cabin 5 is their newest cabin, and is absolutely WONDERFUL. Clean, great design, gas fireplace, kitchen with everything you need (except scissors!), BBQ, a SUPER comfy bed and great shower. The front porch has a little table, chair and two adirondack style chairs, and you can gaze out across the immaculate lawn and out onto a river view of the strait. STUNNING. We could have stayed for weeks. Only issue we had was the when cooking any meat in a frying pan on the stove, there is naturally no ventilation and we set the smoke alarm off pretty reliably (and I promise we are not terrible cooks! lol). If youre not frying/cooking meat on the stove itself, you should have no problem--maybe stick to the BBQ. Otherwise, was a dream of a stay and we are already planning our return. 

Also, I cant leave a review without mentioning Lisa, would is FAB. SO so helpful, kind, and could not do enough to make our stay wonderful. Thank you!!

We had a great stay at Cedar Park Resort in one of the cottages. Lisa was so accommodating, and is exceptionally meticulous with her cleanliness and linens and towels and labeling. I wouldn't normally take a bath somewhere that isn't my own house, but both my mom and I took baths because everything was spotless! The cottage was great, and had lots of useful amenities (coffee, coffee maker, pots, pans, stove, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, etc) as well as TV. It was also a great layout, and had a huge eat-in kitchen with a table and chairs. We were extremely comfortable here, and it was a wonderful base camp for doing whale tours with MacKay Whale Watching.

Great little cottages to stay in whilst in Port McNeill. These are a couple of km out of town so you’ll ideally need to be driving. 
Kitchens are well kitted out with everything we needed and Lisa was lovely. 
Our bed was really comfortable and we slept well.
The only thing which would have been great (given were touring around) would have been laundry on site. We eventually did it in town (down near the jetty) and it was faster than expected though. 

We live further south on the Island and wanted to show visiting family a bit more of our Island.  Cedar Park Resort exceeded our expectations.  Very clean and nicely furnished cabins (we got two, adjacent units, with a bbq on an adjoining deck).  Great views, quiet, and lots of room for the children, as well.

A small collection of Suites and Cottages scattered up a little hillside with beautiful views over the Straits.  All have been renovated to a very high standard indeed with luxury linen and toiletries and every imaginable kitchen gadget!  Super to sit outside on the deck right outside your cottage, BBQ alight and watch the sunset.  

And Lisa is extremely helpful and efficient. She helped us with a few issues and was really kind and generous.

Cedar Park Resort over-delivers in value, in quality and service and in its setting.

Spotless Accommodations with a Great View

We stayed in a 2 bedroom Cottage, it was very clean and well equipped although no hanging space for clothes. The reception was friendly and supplies were replenished daily. The coffee machine and supplies were much appreciated. The resort is quiet and well maintained. The WiFi was rather frustrating as it often disappeared. We took trips to Telegraph Cove - the interpretive Whale centre is great, and a whale watching trip with Seasmoke from nearby Alder bay and that was amazing. All in all a lovely stay and we would recommend Cedar Park resort

The cottage appears to be newly renovated! It is spacious with great amenities. We only stayed one night but there is an outdoor BBQ and fully shocked kitchen. We turned on the electric fireplace and room a quick nap on the comfy sofa. And then had a restful night's sleep on a great bed.
Bathroom was spic and span clean.
Finally the check in and check out process were remarkably easy. We asked to stay another night as our travel plans had changes. Unfortunately there were no vacancies but we were pleased to get a phone call later that day saying they had availability due to a cancellation, which we really appreciated.
