B & B Tekdiv

This B & B is amazing.  The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom very nice, the whole place clean.  Stephane makes a fabulous breakfast, and accommodated my lactose intolerance with plant-based dairy foods.  The living room was nice and when it rained we hung out there. Stephane is very knowledgeable about the area and if asked, will provide suggestions on what to do.

The property is absolutely beautiful.  It is very peaceful and quiet.  Love the greenery around the house and the breakfast on the deck was amazing.  Our room was clean and spacious.  The host is very very nice and helps with what to see in the area and where to eat.  All his recommendations were excellent.  I would go back and stay there again.  My husband and I highly recommend this place for ambiance, cleanliness, friendly host, delicious fresh breakfast every morning.

Great breakfasts...host knows how to prepare some lovely meals.  Full kitchen, living room and associated vinyl and books available to guests.  Sunny balcony in a peaceful setting.

Very nice home and a very friendly host. The breakfast was amazing and our gluten free request was very well accommodated. We will definitely be staying again!

Quiet property in beautiful forest setting.  Nice decor and spacious room.  Very personable and accommodating host.  Both breakfasts were truly memorable.  We had other plans so could not avail ourselves of the host's dinners.  Only one of the rooms apparently has an ensuite, so if that is important to you take care when choosing your room.

We didn’t know what to expect upon arrival, however we were pleasantly intrigued and surprised. The host, Stéphane  was most helpful and accommodating. His breakfasts are better than any brunch restaurant in the area, hands-down. Abundant, fresh, tasty and creative. We had breakfast on the terrace among the chirping birds and it was so very calming and charming.
On the subject of creative, Stéphane has an incredible collection of artwork, many dynamic abstract canvases created by him, a collection of beautiful books as well as vinyl albums and a wide selection of movies.
He has a wine selection and can even provide meals at an extra cost.
He offered us a tasty cider upon arrival and gave good advice as to what was worth a visit on our weekend getaway. 
The room was impeccable and large. Comfortable bed, extra pillows, enormous sparkling-clean bathroom with deep tub and a ton  of crisp white towels and quality toiletries. You won’t need to pack blow dryer or curling iron or even shampoo or lotion. All I needed was deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush and hairbrush. 
Stéphane leaves his guests to relax and enjoy the shared living space and we found him to be very laid-back and generous.
It felt like a cultural home away from home.
We would return without hesitation.

We like this site - it's the second time we stay there

We had a great stay for the weekend, the B&B is close to a lot of great things in the 1000 islands, and the property itself is beautiful and calm. The breakfasts were very very good, with fresh ground coffee on the deck in the warm sunshine. Our host was helpful, with good recommendations about the nearby parks, trails and restaurants, and he made us feel comfortable. We especially appreciated that it was pet friendly and our dog was so happy being there with us.

Abundance, Culture and Peace

Great getaway in a beautiful place

Stephane is the kindest most generous host ever.
His home is equipped with all.
Our room was warm and welcoming with a large bathroom.
Eating breakfast on the porch was amazing. Breakfast was sooooo good...
You can use the kitchen , mske yourself some hot drinks, eat fruit and enjoy some old movies and nice records to listen to.
The house is full of amazing art.
No TV in the bedroom.

Loved every minute

The rooms are lovely, the food is great, Stephane is a welcoming, informative and fascinating host. In addition we had kayaks on our roof racks and, because the property is secluded and away from main roads, we were able to leave the kayaks on the cars at night without fear of them being stolen. All in all a great place, and we'll be back.

B&B Tekdiv surpassed all our expectations. We felt right at home from the moment we entered. Stephane was a great host, and like other reviews mentioned, his breakfasts were delicious and generous. He stocks a selection of teas and makes French press coffee from freshly ground coffee beans. We stayed in the Garden room with the private (and spacious) bathroom that includes a soaker tub, and we slept very well. He has a very sweet Rottweiler who isn’t normally allowed in the guest areas, but if you need some cuddle time, he’ll bring her up. And if you’re scuba diving in the area, Stephane has a fill station.

Home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Tekdiv. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a nice balcony. Stephane served a very generous and delicious breakfast each morning served on the balcony. He is very knowledgeable of the area and so willing to share information concerning points of interest.
