Le Merrill - Vieux Montréal

Place was clean and big.  Family of six fit easily.  Location couldn't be better in Old Montreal with shopping, dining activities all a short walk.  Only think is it's in a tough spot to unload on a busy day.  Plenty of parking over at the pier (we parked for 2 days at the science museum pier no problem). I would pack light so I would just park and walk everything over.  Would definitely stay there again.

Nice property. Just in the middle of old Montreal close to every thing . Comfortable beds clean room. What is really needed is someone who can be contacted directly since this place do not have a front desk.

The location was great and the property was fairly clean and had reasonable required amenities. Communication was easy and check in process was great.

Fantastic location and extremely easy check in/out.  Any communication was quickly answered.

Great location to all the top tourist spots!

The unit was very modern and well kept. Three beds, one for each of us. Location is magnificent!  Lots of shopping and dining options close by. We highly recommend Le Merrill!

The location is excellent! We parked and did not need our car for the rest of our stay while we visited the top tourist spots in Montreal.

Make sure to ask the staff through the app for parking options ahead of time. They were able to recommend a very close underground garage where you can leave your car for multiple days without moving it. Cost ~$19 USD / night.

Location great.  The only recommendation would be to put some bars near the toilet and in shower to help with mobility and balance issues.  Low cost with big help .

We booked the room with 3 queen beds and a kitchen.The location was great. It is right in the heart of Vieux Montreal and a short walk to the subway.It was very spacious for the 4 of us that stayed there. 6 people could comfortably stay there, so long as they would share a queen bed with someone else. One of the beds is in a separate room, so my partner and I slept there, and it provided some privacy. Our 2 children each got their own queen bed in the space shared with the kitchen. The beds, pillows, and bedding were comfortable.The kitchen was very large for a hotel room. It had a large fridge with a lower freezer, a ceramic range, a large oven, a dishwasher, and a good size sink with a sprayer faucet. There was also a toaster, electric kettle, and a coffee maker. There is also a clothing washer and dryer.There was a good amount of plates, bowls, and utensils. There was also a small pot, a medium pot, a strainer, and a cutting board.The bathroom was a very good size with a walk-in shower that could fit two people. Shampoo, hand soap, toilet paper, and towels were included.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we had some issues. The kitchen faucet was loose. There were very minimal supplies. No dish soap, paper towels, baking sheet, foil, or laundry detergent. There was only one dishwasher detergent, so we were only able to run it once on our 5 night stay. No lighting in the private bedroom closet, so we had to use the flashlight on our phones at night.

The Le Merrill is in a fantastic location in the heart of Old Montreal. It was very clean and had the minimal kitchen and bath necessities for our stay. Be aware that our unit had no microwave or coffeemaker, but did have an electric kettle,  fridge, dishwasher, and stove/oven. Cooking equipment was minimal — no pans suitable for use in an oven. Beds were comfortable and heat and A/C both worked well. The in-unit washer/dryer was nice to have. We would stay here again but come better prepared with dishwasher tablets, laundry soap and a small bottle of dish soap. I would recommend the Le Merrill.

We very much enjoyed our visit and found the place very well located. The hotel location is fantastic. You cannot beat that. Walkable area within  steps from basilica and old Montreal. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Clean, comfortable , large space and remodeled apartment with modern, cool and tasteful decor. Beds were confortable. Great towels. Full kitchen although we didn’t use it. Overall we had a great time. Cons: a noisy building construction in front of the apartment during weekdays. Weird sewer smell coming from the bathroom’s pipes sometimes during the day (not sure if related with the construction). The bathroom sink was clogged and it took forever to drain, the closet light was burnt, the night table light didn’t work, the bedroom TV didn’t work either (the living room TV did work),  there was no front desk and no housekeeping during our stay.  Overall we loved our time there but we recommend a basic maintenance of the facilities to make sure they work properly.

Beautiful space. Tons of room. Comfy beds. Room to cook or lounge. Gorgeous big windows. Wonderful space and well located in old Montreal. Not a typical hotel. No staff. No house keeping. No front desk. No room service. No bar and no outdoor signage.

Well equipped, clean, friendly staff, great and precise instructions for accessing the space. Space could benefit from some minor cosmetic repairs but overall, great location, cool experience.
