Great stay. Great location. Quiet and clean.

Great place to stay! Quiet - clean & shockingly the beds were extremely comfortable.

Great spot for an overnight visit. Good pricing and clean rooms. Great for working in area. Close to everything in this little town.

Quick friendly check in. Though small the room was clean and had all the conveniences we needed. We would stay here again. Lovely walking across the street on the rail trail along the Ottawa River. Great value for the price.

From the outside it looks like it would be run down inside but was clean with no weird smells inside. Beds were comfortable, lot's of hot water, decent size small fridge and working TV with a decent selection of channels. Staff was friendly and wasted no time checking me in. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place on a budget.

We were in room 14 around the back of the motel- very quiet and recently updated. The only issue was that there wasn’t a counter in bathroom and the coffee machine plug was on floor (cord wouldn’t stretch), so we needed to plug it in in the bathroom in sink edge. If that’s the worse thing though, so life can’t be too bad:) easy access to highway and near a good restaurant.

I like these places where you can park in front of your door. The room was impeccably clean and even though in a busy area, once you close the door it’s very quiet. Everything is close. Downtown is just a short drive but all the important places like Walmart, Canadian Tire, MacDonalds and the LCBO are right there.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights on a motorcycle trip with 3 friends. While the exterior is dated, the rooms were clean & spacious, the beds comfortable, and the washrooms functional with amazing water pressure & unlimited hot water. The owner was very pleasant and anxious to help us enjoy our stay. Since we were on motorcycles, it was also important to have supper options available within walking distance and we found an excellent chinese restaurant across the street (with a 10% discount for motel guests) and a Boston Pizza. Walmart and Canadian Tire were very close as well. This may become our "go to" place for our annual fall ride.

Clean, Comfortable, Excellent Value

This looks like a small easy to overlook motel and in some ways it is really only as good as that.  But it does what it does very well.  I found the staff friendly, the room clean and spacious, the amenities were what you expect in this small hotel.  The location was fairly central if you have a car yet still felt like I was out in the country.  I would stay here the next time I go to Pembroke.

Not what you expect from the outside

Great value. Rooms recently updated. My room had laminate floors which=easy to clean, no smells and stains.  Beds comfortable. Friendly fast check in. TV stations a bit disappointing.  One thing that was curious - although absolutely no big deal at all. The rooms and bathrooms are fully renovated, new vanities, bathtubs..etc. However, the bathroom mirrors are not.,..just puzzling as it detracts from the overall renovation perspective.  
Air conditioner is old hang in the window but you have full control over it which is nice and not loud like normal hotels.  
Don't expect granite countertops and the like here...it is a motel and very affordable rates.  No pool. No games room. No lobby. But if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable place for the night....hard to beat it.

Stayed there in June, had new owners and the rooms were freshly painted and very clean. But he was still working on the grounds and that. Owners very friendly and sweet. Older place but new owners did many upgrades with painting, new fresh lining, and such. Was right in town walking distance to everything Will definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in June 2018 and we were pleasantly surprised. This is  run by a family who take great pride in their operation as reflected in the cleanliness and renovation work they have done since taking over about a year ago. The room offers simple, comfortable and very clean accommodation. The owners are very friendly and checked to see if we were comfortable, both husband and wife chatted with us, and even offered for us to taste some home made snacks they had made earlier in the day.  This is not a five star resort, but if you are looking for clean, very affordable and comfortable accommodations for a night or too, I would definitely recommend The Traveller's Inn.

Great stay

Friendly staff, recent renovations, fluffy towels and convenient location all made this a great stay. Not fancy but clean, and comfortable.
Great value for a 2 night stay. Dogs were welcome as well with an additional pet fee. 
Even the water pressure for showers was a plus!
Would definitely stay again.
