Gary was so enthusiastic about his area, shared stories of whales and life in this beautiful area. Went beyond the normal reception of the 4 of us. Although fog prevented us from seeing the whales and other scenes, we count our visit to the hotel as memorable and exceptional. Self cook breakfast and kitchen so tssteful. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone using the ferry service.

Motel is close to the terminal for the ferry to Labrador. It is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the bay.  Management was very attentive and helpful with all aspects of moving into the room, as well as organizing a difficult ferry ride.  The ferry was delayed by pack ice, but the manager was on top of the situation and kept me informed of all eventualities. The standard room was fine, and everything was in order.  He organized an early breakfast.   His most amazing gesture was to come and find me as I waited at the ferry terminal, to return some treasured items I had left behind.  Above and beyond the call of duty!   I would go here without hesitation next time I am in town, and highly recommend it to others.

My husband and I received a friendly, warm reception from proprietor Gary and his mom upon arrival. This is a family-run operation so warmth and coziness abound. Our room faces the Gulf and while we were checking in we could see whales spouting and breaching from the front windows. What a treat! A puffin sanctuary island is down the road and grocery store up the road so convenient for necessities and nature observation. We liked that the kitchen was open each morning for guests to make their own repast from assorted breads and spreads, bagels, eggs, cheese, cereals, fruit, juices and coffee/tea. Room was cleaned and tidied daily. A convenient place to stay close to ferry and  to explore both southeastern Quebec and the southern Labrador Coastal Trail.  Lovely helpful hosts and cleaning staff. Thank you to Auberge 4 Saisons for a memorable stay!

Nice welcome from the proprietor. Small but very functional and very comfortable rooms. Wonderful kitchen installation and dining room space for a do-your-own-breakfast (and other meals). Close to the Ferry between Blanc-Sablon and St-Barbe Newfoundland. Best place in town.

We managed to get the last room when the whole southern shore was booked. The proprietor, bless him, was offered extra money to give up our room. When we booked, we told him we would be very late arrivals. He kept our room & we arrived after midnight. Room was small but comfortable. We did not cross the strait until 10:30 so we had plenty of time to have breakfast which was included. Make it yourself which was cool. Would gladly stay here again. 

Although the weather during our short stay did not meet our desires, and the darn black flies made standing outside a real pain, we enjoyed our stay here.  Our host was very friendly and good tips on what to do.  Unfortunately, not many places to have an evening meal...but a very generous breakfast!

Near the border between Quebec and Labrador

My room was very spacious with great views to the sea. I could walk over to the only restaurant. 
unfortunately my room could not be darkened completely because the blinds were partly defect. The bathroom was very small. 
iIhad to get the breakfast out of the fridge to prepare it surrounded by sleepy personal.
