The Secret Garden B&B Inn

Service was above and beyond. Nice breakfast! Room was very clean and pretty. And they area is perfect, quiet but only minutes from waterfront and thousand of restaurants!

Beautifully decorated, stately elegant home for a relaxing time in historic Kingston. Great location for walking to shops/restaurants on Princess Avenue. Would prefer the dispensers to be less FORCEFUL, as the lovely Wellington Soap products are all quite viscous. Gorgeous 4poster bed in McKay Suite. See you again, when the garden is blooming!

Enjoyed my complementary morning coffee in their comfy bathrobes on the porch swing in the middle of an ice storm.  The morning breakfast was lovely, enjoyed the ensuite and fireplace in the McKay room.

My wife and I stayed one night at The Secret Garden Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.  The 2nd-floor corner room had three large windows  looking out at the garden and neighbouring homes and a lovely old church.  The gas fireplace was a nice touch and much appreciated after an unusually-cold day of wandering the nearby downtown shopping district.  Rachel prepared an absolutely delicious breakfast for us the day of our departure - freshly-baked scone with homemade jam, cheese-filled crepes, and roasted mini potatoes in a light basil drizzle - simply yummy!  We look very much forward to future visits to The Secret Garden Inn.

Love staying here! My room was beautifully decorated and the corner the fireplace was to die for. Breakfast is always tasty and well presented. French pressed coffee you can't beat. Natasha is fun and  super welcoming! Thanks again and I'll be back!!!!

Martello Suite was luxurious, with its bay windows flanked by cozy armchairs, fireplace  and lovely antiques.
HIGHLY recommend this oasis of calm, good food &  comfort!

I cannot say enough about this place & how easy my booking went.  In speaking with the owner directly made my experience even better. Their romantic package is perfect. I would recommend it 100% to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay.

This is a gorgeous place to stay.  The whole inn is beautifully appointed and the rooms are elegant and cozy.  Wonderful breakfast too...the scones are seriously to die for!  Additionally, the inn is within walking distance to downtown and the university.  Great for parents of Queen's students like me!

Perfect little spot to enjoy our stay in Kingston.  The suite has a little kitchen so we could make whatever meal in we chose, as there was a full size fridge & stove.  Full use of the Inn to relax and enjoy, and a full breakfast was an option.  Thanks to all the staff who made our stay a lovely one!

Visit to The Secret Garden Inn

Beautiful Bedroom (McKay) and ensuite bathroom. The decor of the room was so nice and unique, we felt like royalty sleeping in there. The bed is quite tall, but luckily they have a step stool! The natural light and fireplace brought a nice warmth to the room on that cold February day. 
Breakfast was delicious, we both opted for the savoury crepe and it did not disappoint! We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book a room here again. Thanks!

Beautiful Rooms & Delicious Breakfast

We went for the 5 course fondue, which was absolutely fantastic, from start to finish. Then we went upstairs to the McKay room, which was absolutely lovely. Very spacious, king size bed and the bathroom had been redone and was outstanding. The next morning we were treated to a lovely, very fulfilling breakfast. I must say all the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

FANTASTIC GET AWAY

During our recent visit to Kingston, we had the pleasure of staying at The Secret Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast. Our cozy room was spacious and comfortable, with high-quality bedding that made for a great night's sleep. Breakfast each morning was a highlight of our stay, with a nice rotation of options that were promptly delivered to our table. The service was attentive and friendly, making it easy to power up for the day ahead. Location-wise, The Secret Garden Inn sits just a couple of blocks away from Kingston's main area of shops and restaurants, which made it super nice to walk around and explore the city. Given the chance, we look forward to staying here again in the future.

Comfortable Stay at The Secret Garden Inn B&B

The pictures don't due it justice...from the moment you see the gardens and the expansive porch, you are hooked.  We had no problem with finding parking and walked to many things nearby (albeit, we're strong walkers).  Our room was the MacKay and outside of leaping up to the very high bedtop, we loved our expansive room.  Bathroom is remodeled and the sitting chairs are comfortable near the windows to enjoy the view of the historic church across the street.  Breakfast was delicious and the french press coffee, perfect.  I can't say enough about the gracious people working there.   Lovely public spaces and well decorated.   When in Kingston, or en route, stay here!

Absolutely beautiful & Gracious hospitality!!

My stay at the Secret Garden was  just so lovely.  As Queen's alumni, my friend and I met in Kingston to celebrate 20 years since we graduated.  We both travel for work often and gravitated to large chain hotels for our stay, but  when all the hotels in Kingston were booked or had inflated pricing, we started looking at smaller bed and breakfasts.  We should have started our hotel search here.  Honestly the Secret Garden Inn was the most lovely stay I have had at a hotel in years.  The room was perfect, we had very cozy indoor and outdoor spaces to sit and relax and the staff was 10/10.  Every evening we signed up for a gourmet breakfast the next morning with either something sweet or savory and it was delicious.  The Inn is walking distance to Kingston downtown and the space itself is so beautiful I would stay here every time I came to Kingston.  It was really the perfect place for our visit and thank-you to the staff (special shout out to Ani) and everyone else who made our trip so lovely.
