From the outside it looks like a normal Motel 
We had room number 1 
And this is a number one room without a doubt.
When I entered I didn’t expect such a cool room . 
Big screen tv . Nice wooden finish. And clean 
I would recommend this motel . 
We would definitely come back here .

Great news! The place has been updated and is much more beautiful and cleaner than the reviews I've read about Glencoe. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're looking for something nice, safe, affordable. 

Andy at the front desk shared some amazing and heart-warming stories while booking me into Room 3 for the night. He moved to Canada at the age of 7; has lived and worked in all corners of the country. His training in architecture has really been put to good use for a number of decades. Including plans for a beautiful new building on this site.

We usually look  at reviews before we book but this time we didn’t and took a chance. When we arrived we did get asked to pay in advance. We rented 3 rooms on the first floor. The rooms are very clean and cute, cottage style. The owner was pleasant and answered any questions we had. This motel is a block from the beach and there are some good restaurants in the area. Milos the Greek restaurant and Old Settler Pub were our favourites.Very convenient location. We will be going back for sure.

Harrison lake getaway!

Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our experience.  We’re in a 38’ RV and it was tight but doable. A small park with a motel onsite. Did not use washroom as we have one in the RV.  Located in the heart of town. Basic amenities and good value. Owner is a hard worker and pleasant.  If towing a vehicle that doesn’t fit on your site you may need to park your car on the street. I would stay here again.

Great Location & Value

Clean is the first thought but a very typical motel of this era. It's been there forever and it shows.  Mattress was comfortable but would have enjoyed a king but was told "those don't exist in motels".  Intranet is basic at best - maybe the routers might improve service if better located but basic video sites (Netflix, CNN, Sportsnet) don't work.  Location is good (but than again Harrison is not a big town and can be easily walked from anywhere).  We paid $80 and I'm still not sure if we'd have been better spending $160 elsewhere.

Management couple were somewhat frazzled due, to someone else being placed in our reserved site. but eventually  assigned us in a suitably sized site.. Access for motor home towing a car, is not easy, from street. Glencoe RV....location is ideal  for access to lake front and town facilities.

After mixup re reserved site, stay was pleasant, when another suitable site was provided..

Came her 4 times this  will be my last . Owners have  lost pride in regards to looking after the grounds my site there was stinky old carpet there which looked like it had been there for months  gross!! Very dirty and noisy complained about party next to my site and was told there was nothing could BS lots of steady campers there living  there and it shows with there derelict trailers. Last time I will be ever staying there. BTW my picnic table was gross looks like it was never wiped downs in weeks . To bad this used to be nice place come but never again!!!

Stay away gone down hill over the years

The location is great; however, our RV site and others were right beside an overflowing dumpster.  At 32 c or 90 f, the flies and smell was unbearable!  The owner had no interest in cleaning our the over flowing dumpster.  His response: "the wind will change". The ideal location is not worth the unhealthy conditions!

Unorganized, very rude staff. We went every year for May long weekend for the last 4 years and requested specific rooms and sites. The reservations were made almost 1 year in advance for these rooms. None of which were honored.

The camp sites had about 1 ft long grass that weren’t even mowed for our friends staying in RVs, so when they went to get out of the RV's the 1 ft long grass got shoes and pants completely soaked and dirty.

They demanded a cash only deposit on check in, and there were no working ATM's in town requiring us to drive 60 minutes to and from Agassiz to get the cash. They refused to put a hold or put deposit on on a credit card. Our friends who were a part of our small group, were not required to leave any such deposit. 

The place looks totally run down,  and looks like it houses “long term” residents only.

I wouldn’t even give this place one star. 

Won’t recommend to anyone and will never be back.

ROOMS WERE DISGUSTING!!!! Horribly rude and unorganized staff.

This Place is such a dump .mold all over bathroom. Soap scum all over showerAnd bathtub ...The staff are very ignorant an rude .bed smells like sweat .This Place needs a total revamp .decorated in all 70s thrift store decor .customer service gets a big ZERO.By All means avoid this place like the Plague.
