On a yearly road trip with my "older" high school girl friend - also known as our 'butter tart" trip! We look at a map, pick a destination we want to explore for 3 or 4 days, get a trip tik from CAA with a scenic back-road route and head off. This year was Huntsville, Port Carling, Dorset, Bobcaygeon and a few spots on the way. One night was at the Riverside Caygeon B&B and it was a great stay. Peaceful and relaxing when we arrived and enjoyed our bottle of wine on the back deck and very quiet wen we returned from our dinner/theatre event at the Globus Theatre - a perfect evening and a great sleep before heading home.
