Celtic Haven

Great place....walked in to the smell of fresh pumpkin pie baking. Beautiful fireplace. Walking distance to Jasper town amenities. Will be sure to be back many times in the future. Elk were all over town!

Celtic Haven is a wonderful place to stay with our own entrance and very clean facilities. The shower is powerful and water is hot, the bathroom is a great size with the queen bedroom also a good size. Jan and Dave were lovely hosts, super friendly and welcoming. 
A 10 minute walk/stroll brings you into the town centre for all the browsing and restaurants you could ever want!

The most lovely and welcoming hosts! Room was perfect, with lots of amenities packed into a little space and very fair cost (fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishes). Location was in a nice quiet area of town, but only a 10min walk from the main street. Would highly recommend! I think original owners are retiring in about a month - wishing them all the best!

The owners are absolutely beautiful people and go out of their way for anything you need! The room has everything you need and it’s only like a ten min walk into town, highly recommend! Plus the dog is super cute - highlight :)

Our hosts, Dave & Jan were friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were very clean, had enough space, lots of hooks and bars to hang clothes, towels. Kitchenette was well equipped. Close to town, easy walk to restaurants.

When I phoned Celtic Haven to book the room two month ago, I found Dave to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He was prompt and extremely helpful when I reached out to him (for example to arrange for a late check-in). Fast forward to our actual stay in Celtic Haven, we stayed in room#1 for three nights in September. The room was very clean and comfy with all the amenities we needed. It had a private shower, TV, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and dishes among other things. We used their driveway to park our car and sat on their nice deck on two evenings to enjoy our beer with the nice view of the mountains. We also met Jan and their very friendly Dog.
Overall, we highly recommend this place. Dave and Jan are great people to meet and Celtic Haven is an excellent choice to stay in or around Jasper.

David and Jan run a great, really quiet (especially when you compare the town centre or main road located Lodges), well priced and well placed bnb because it's a relatively short walk into town. Perfect for couple looking for a bolt hole in Jasper.

Jan was very welcoming and gave us some great tips on what to see in Jasper National park. It’s a very short stroll into town so well positioned. The room was comfortable with all we needed for a couple of nights. The room is tucked away downstairs so no views. 

Celtic Haven was as advertised.  It doesn't offer a breakfast, but a mini-fridge and a few accessories were provided.  It was intelligently conceived so that self-sufficient travelers could come and go without necessarily needing to see the proprietors again once they checked in. I liked the flexibility this provided.  Proprietors are well-spoken and welcoming. All in all, a good place to stay.

We had room #2 for 5 nights.  It was clean and as advertised with accompanying  "kitchenette".  Kichenette consisted of a small closet with mini-fridge, coffee pot, kettle, and toaster.  A TV was mounted on the wall opposite the bed. Now...... to watch the TV you had to sit or lay on the bed, the couch was located under the TV and there was no room to move it!  If you used the kitchenette there was nowhere to sit and have what you prepared.  There was a small fold-up table in the cupboard but if you sat on the couch to eat the table was higher than your head.  The only way to use the table to eat or whatever was to sit on the bed.  A note suggested that you could wash your dishes in the bathroom sink which was hardly large enough to accomplish the feat.  Both Jan and Dave were helpful on our first visit for 2 days, but on our second stay of 3 nights they were travelling and left the rooms open for us with another person looking after the house whom we didn't see until they arrived home on our last night.  On our first visit we were offered the sunroom or deck if we wished to sit.  On the second visit the sunroom was locked and the deck chairs had the cushions removed so you couldn't use them!!!
In conclusion, if you are looking for a "bed" this is the place, otherwise I would find somewhere with more room to sit and move around.
