A very nice simple cozy perfect place to stay in . I recommend it for everyone. I can tell that management and maintenance are very good. Rooms are nice and clean . Breakfast is really good. The neighborhood is excellent where you find all your needs while spending few days visiting Jasper.

I liked that the bottom floor had a separate back entrance with parking.

Great value for the money. Hot breakfast was good, property was clean and on par with a chain hotel. Absolutely perfect for a 1 night stay.

First time staying at Hinton Lodge, but will definitely stay here again. Reasonable price, clean, and staff were courteous and friendly.

The stay was decent. Breakfast was nice with good options, and the rooms were clean. Room service was also good.However, the washroom had issues, and the staff didn’t handle it well. The TV was old, with limited channels and no phone connectivity, which was disappointing.Overall, a mix of good and bad experiences.

My brother and I stayed two nights as part of a skiing trip to Marmot Basin in Jasper.  The staff at check in are professional and friendly and we found the room clean and comfortable. They could use some updates to decor but I would definitely stay here again.  The price was very reasonable as well.

Ski trip

This is a nice, simple, and clean fascility. The bedroom was super comfortable and clean. We were greated by a friendly and smiley lady. We were able to walk to a supermarket close by. The breakfast was delicious and simple. The bathroom had done hand soap bar and dove gel shower. I was so happy as it had dove hand soap and gel shower; that as this is my fav brand and I use it at home. I would go back for sure.

Always a great place to stay on the way to ski Marmot. The price is right, including a decent hot breakfast. Check-in/out is really fast, and it's just over an hour to the hill in the morning. Usually quiet for sleeping and the beds are OK. Rating reflects value for the price. It's not the Marriott but you're also not paying $400 a night.

Good stay, only issue was someone for what ever reason had the air conditioner on and set at 12°. It was -22 outside. lol had to turn it onto heat and ran the hair dryer for awhile. Other then that was good. Best shower(great pressure and lots of water and the drain kept up) in a hotel that I have seen in a long time.

If you're looking for budget accommodations around Jasper, there isn't a better one available! We honestly weren't expecting much from a hotel at this price range but we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathrooms were also clean and looked newly renovated and there's even complimentary breakfast!! The only drawback is that it's about 50mins away from Jasper but I think from now on Hinton Lodge will be our go to accommodations everytime we visit Jasper

Perfect choice for our needs. Wanted a decent room for overnight on way to visit kids. Room was clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff very friendly and the free breakfast was amazing.  Eggs, sausages, pancakes, toast, bagels, fruit, cereal, coffee and juice. We were very impressed! Close to many dining options and walking trails. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Great location in Hinton!!  Only a few minutes walk to restaurants & stores: Walmart, Canadian Tire, McDonald's, Burger King, Fat Burger, Wendy's, Tim Hortons, Boston Pizza and more...

Our room (2 Queen Beds with Kitchenette) was very clean, comfy and quiet. The helpful staff showcased professionalism and kindness that exceeded my expectations. Sheila at the front desk is definitively the BEST and she significantly enhanced our stay :)

Hot breakfast is included and located in the main floor. Very basic but what do you expect when it is free. The lady in charge of the breakfast (the guardian of the place) was always checking from the corner of the room to make sure everything was okay and cleaned. However a nice smile on her face would be appreciated as her resting face was not very approachable.

I look forward to returning in the future and experiencing the excellent service the team at Hinton Lodge provides.

P.S If you have extra time in Hinton, you must go to the Canadian Steakout  located at 417 Gregg Ave (great restaurant) and go to the Beaver Boardwalk (408 Colline Rd) to explore the wetland system. A nice 3 km walk on wooden trails. A great opportunity to see the beavers in action and look at their dam and lodge. The best time to see them is during morning or late afternoon/early evening. Well worth a visit for everyone and family with kids.

Good clean rooms and a bar about one kilometre down the road

Hinton as a town is nothing flash but it’s an easy one hour drive to Jasper with great scenery on the way 

Try the brew house fifteen minutes west of town for a great meal

Good hotel

Very happy with our stay. Usually stay at the Best Western but decided to give this place a try as the price was affordable.  The room was very spacious and clean. Close to all amenities. Hot water for a shower. Had a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was nice as well. Front staff very friendly. Will stay again in the off season.
