The house has relatively old facilities, but the price is very affordable. The owner is very friendly, and it's close to tourist attractions. Overall, the stay was very comfortable.

I can't say enough about these cabins! They are SO AMAZING! Private little personal cabins with an enclosed fireplace and kitchenette. They are older, so that just gives them a little rugged character. All this and they are the least expensive accommodation (beside a hostel) in a very expensive town. Also, they are right along the highway, but there was absolutely NO traffic noise. We had an awesome sleep. Then, in the morning, the view of the Rockies in the rising sun was to die for.

Wife and i stayed here for our honeymoon and couldnt be happier. Thank you to the wonderful staff for being so accomodating and pleasant.

Exactly what’s is advertised cute little stay definitely coming back!

This is our forth time staying here and there will be more visits to come. The cabins may be a bit dated but they are cute and quaint. They are clean and have everything we need when we visit Canmore. We aren't the hustle and bustle family and hotels aren't our thing so this is perfect. There are fire pits to enjoy a bit of the outdoors and calmness of Harvey Heights.

I enjoyed the cost vs cabin. It's nothing new but had all I needed plus wood fireplace. Loved it

They do delivery for door dash. The only thing about this chalet is that you may hear others speak nonsense so just ignore it. Other then that I have met amazing wondering people.

Romantic private cabins.

Everything was fine, but I noticed a smell on my bedsheet. I’m not sure if it was from a bonfire, the vintage condition of the cabin, or the bedsheet itself. Also, there was a part of the bathroom window where the privacy cover was peeling, and someone outside could potentially see inside (Cabin 8). I covered it with some tissues since I didn’t get a chance to report it before I left early. Other than that, my stay was great—I might go back again because of the price and the beautiful views.

The cabins are rustic. They were clean. On the smaller side. Limited utensils, plates etc. Don’t plan on using the pull out beds. They are older and didn’t have the space to fully extend them.Ideally suited for those interested in an affordable mountain getaway. Service was very good. Front office has a phone number to the onsite attendant who would be there in minutes.

Affordable and Rustic. Close to Banff

Everything was as expected for an aging cabin property.  These cabins have all the convinces needed for a sustainable stay in the mountains.  Full-size fridge and stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker - however, the utensils and dishes are few.  There is a choice of using the gas furnace or (fee for wood - bring an axe) you can burn the fireplace for a cozy atmosphere.  I recommend you bring food and coffee, maybe your own pillows and comforter.  There is really only one choice of lighting - a stark white lap fixture high in the ceiling - bring a lamp if you can.  The water wasn't tasty but it is tolerable - recommend bringing water.  These cozy but rustic cabins are easy to access and sit far enough from Highway 1, that we didn't hear the traffic.  The train is a distant rumble, until hotels in Canmore, where they rattle through the centre of town.  The staff are ready to help and friendly.  We didn't have any trouble with our stay.  I can recommend this stay to anyone looking for a fully equipped stay in the mountains for a low price.  (we visited in winter)

The cabins have a rustic fee which fits nice with a weekend of hiking and skiing. The wood stove was a nice bonus and adds to the cabin feel. Kitchen came in handy. Wasn’t the cleanest but not a huge deal. Door was a bit drafty as there was a crack down the door letting cold air in. Would stay again.

Rustic cabins for a mountain getaway.

Absolutely cozy and quaint cabins for those who love a rustic experience. Nothing fancy and no need as these make you feel at home in the mountains. Covers all your necessities for a stay with a kitchenette, bath, bed and couch! Fire pit out the door for an evening under the stars! My wife and I loved it here and will be back fosho!

The staff were super friendly, especially their sweet pup and kitty who greeted us when we arrived! The check in and out process was a breeze! Location was great, views of the mountain from our cabin. They let us choose which cabin was best suited for us as we had two large dogs, and the cabin selected had a good size area to let our pups outside when needed. It was a cozy cabin, wifi worked well, and we were able to settle down in the evening with snacks and movies using Tubi on the TV. The cabin had a small amount of kitchen utensils and they had a hot plate, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, and the necessities we needed to make a small meal and coffee. Bathroom was quite small but expected for a studio cabin. Overall pretty clean, they provided pillows and extra blankets although we travelled with extras. No designated parking lot for the cabins, we had parked on the street across from our cabin. We will definitely stay again!

I have no clue why this place has such low reviews. My husband and I have stayed here four different times and loved it. It’s quiet and rustic with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each cabin has it’s own cable and high speed wifi. And theres nothing better than warming up in the winter by the indoor fireplace.  It’s definitely not fancy but  for a whole cabin it is a great deal. It’s a short drive to Canmore making it a super convenient stay in the mountains. Henry, the owner, is always friendly and responsive to our needs. We will always come back.

Best deal near Canmore

This place is great!!! It is VERY rustic but don’t let that scare you! We loved it! It is clean and comfy. Super quaint. The little kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It’s a perfect little get away for couples! Great location for a ski trip! Close to all 3 ski hills. We will definitely be back. 
The host is fantastic and very accommodating.
