Our suite was absolutely beautiful! We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. The bathroom was gorgeous with a soaker tub and full shower. I highly recommend staying at Grey Rose Suites. You won’t be disappointed

I can't say enough good about this beautiful hotel!  Nicest suite we've stayed in for a very long time.  Everything was pristine clean and so cozy!

Wow wow wow. This suite had a queen bed in a seperate room! And the washroom is as big as most hotel rooms - and I'm pretty sure renovated very recently! Stunning, spacious, large tv with a DVD collection in the common area - incredible. Staff also go above and beyond to help any way they can!

Always the best stay at the Grey Rose. This hotel is immaculate, warm, and cozy. Tons of space for our family to relax in. Unique and beautiful. We stay here whenever we are in the area. It never disappoints.

Stayed here twice now. A great place to stay.

Easy check in and extremely friendly host. The room was perfect with a fireplace and small kitchenette. The kitchenette had all the supplies and ample coffee which was greatly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and towels and linens soft. The fact that pets are allowed was fantastic. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you!

Great little hotel. We needed a hotel on route to our final destination and came across this little boutique hotel in the small town of Hanover. We needed a hotel which was pet friendly and this is it!  Love the contactless check in. Everything is ready when you arrive. Just punch in your last 4 digits of your phone number and you are in your room. Everything is in the room to make your stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

This is a very lovely place to stay. The self check-in worked flawlessly. Our room surpassed our expectations. It was large and very comfortable with everything we needed. Little details like q-tips in the bathroom and real cream for the coffee showed their attention to detail. Next time we come to town we will stay here for certain. Also the most important thing was that we got to see Petra the cat and got to pet her. ;-)

Pet friendly Gem in Hanover

Our suite was the yellow rose suite.  It comes with a well stocked kitchenette which we really appreciated over our 2 night stay.  The suite is very spacious and just made us feel like we were at home.  The use of our unique code got us into the hotel and our room with ease.  It's a unique property.  We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

A little Sister Getaway for two nights and will definitely come again. We booked the patio suite and had the most amazing time. So clean, comfortable and spacious. The patio was private and delightful, perfect for sitting out and enjoying an evening glass of wine or morning coffee. There is a  fun selection of movies too which we did take advantage of. I was actually surprised how quiet the room was for sleeping. Check in was crazy easy.  I can't think of one negative thing to say about this place! We are looking forward to our next stay.

Little Gem not to be overlooked.

Super easy check- in, nice room!  We were using the pull out couch for a guest and there was no duvet in the room, we called the cell number on the website and they seemed miffed that we did not ask for this in advance, I guess we did not read the fine print???  They dropped off a small duvet that looked like a sleeping bag, a white one like the one on the  main bed would have been nice...  Creamers in the fridge?  Nice bonus!!

My wife and I rented the library suite for a two night stay and I have to say  the pictures on the website do not do this property justice. The suite is quite large and well maintained. It has a side yard you can use with a bbq and a small seating area. The bedroom is large, as is the bathroom, which has a shower and a jacuzzi tub. This is a very well maintained property inside and out and we will not hesitate to return again

This hotel rates a better than 5 stars.  It is absolutely lovely . We had the Wood Rose  suite and it was beautiful.  Extremely clean and well furnished with all the amenities you would want.  The reception area is very inviting and the owners were very welcoming and ensured that we were able to get into our suite early as we were coming for a family wedding and wanted to change there.  You would not be disappointed in staying there.

Better than 5 stars…..

My sister and I recently had the pleasure of a four night stay in the yellow rose suite at grey rose suites in Hanover. We loved everything about our stay. The suite was spacious, beautiful, spotless, quiet. Both king sized beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was a fireplace and private outdoor deck. The 4 piece bathroom was beautiful and had a large claw foot tub and large walk in shower. There was also a two piece bathroom in this suite. The kitchenette had a fridge, microwave, keurig coffee maker and coffee pods, dishes/ glassware/ utensils. Checking in was very easy. Parking was just outside the entrance. Close to many restaurants and shopping. 10/10. Highly recommend the rose grey suites. Hope to have the pleasure of staying there again sometime.

We have now stayed here a few times as we have friends in nearby Elmwood. Our friends host a holiday party, and since it's a bit of a trek from Toronto, we stay overnight. They suggested this Inn, and we've now stayed in about 4 different rooms. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and spacious. There are movies and games in the lobby. This is a great choice for a family or group because most (if not all) of the rooms have a secondary sleeping area, like a bedroom or pullout couch and the rooms themselves are pretty large. Some of the rooms also include a balcony with a BBQ. The main door and all room doors have coded entry locks instead of keys. They make check-in very easy by programming the last few digits of your phone number into both doors so you can enter and exit as you please.

On our recent visit, we stayed in the Orchid room (photos attached). It was very clean and looks newly remodelled.  The beds are on the firmer side. The room includes a huge bathroom, main sleeping area, living room area with couches, 4-person dining table and chairs, and separate bedroom. There was also a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. One thing to note is that the hot water is VERY hot. They put signs and instructions about this in the washroom, so look out for that. The inn seemed to be at or near capacity, but while in our room, we didn't hear anyone else.

If you're in the area and looking for a place to stay, we highly recommend the Grey Rose Suites - we've had a nice stay every time we've been.

One thing to note is that taxis can be difficult to secure. There are two companies that we know of in the area: DC Cab closes at 6pm and Hanover Shuttle runs until either 12:30 am or 2:30 am. However, both have few cars on the road, so you may have to wait quite a while if looking for a ride on a weekend evening.
