Best hostel of the trip!! Amazing vibe! Best location, and awesome staff! 

You can get a bed in a doormroom, a private family room, a glamping tent outside, or rent a tent pad for your own tent. 
Has amazing views! And most nights the owner lights up the firepit, and everyone hangs out outside. 
I'd recommend also visiting the cultural center and the village Cafe! 

Just the best hostel experience I've had in a long time!!! 

This place was excellent. It was fun, cozy, and memorable at the same time. The owner provided complimentary bear spray, Trekking poles, mosquito repellent, etc. There was always a fire going outside. The owner shared very useful knowledge of the area, including some fun hikes. Overall, this place was a blast. 

Staff was very friendly. Sam & Martin were very knowledgeable & helpful with my questions. Quick check-in. Bathrooms & showers were clean & well stocked. Big kitchen with everything you could need. Already booked my return stay after my Alaska trip. 

Great place, friendly and accomodating staff, clean common rooms, bathrooms, and showers! Walking distance to all the pubs in the area (small town). Full kitchen with stove, fridge, and everything you need to cook food. Next time I'm in the area I'm absolutely staying there again!!

Brilliant place to stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Kitchen and communal areas  were very welcome after our stay in the tent. Lovely and clean in the amazing setting of Haines Junction. Thank you!

I really appreciated this place. We had tent to stay in - kind of like a yurt. The kitchen area was very useful and there is spices and stuff like that you can use. Everyone is very friendly so it was fun to sit down and talk with the other travellers. The room and the bathrooms were clean. Would very much recommend. The area is beautiful as well.

It’s amazing place with Martin, very friendly and nice person. Excellent rooms, the living room, toilets, showers, etc, are very clean and comfortable with the best WIFI in Yukon. You don’t need nothing because Martin had all that you need in the hostel. We will come back.

This is a great place to stay on  while in Haines Junction on your way to Alaska or on a hiking trip to Kluane National Park. The owner, Martin is a wonderful person. Let me give you an example. I had reserved a tent site for 6 nights while hiking in Kluane but had to go back to Whitehorse because my hiking boos were no good anymore. Not only did Martin credit me for the 3 nights that I did not stay (without being prompted whatsoever) but he referred me to great store where I bought an excellent pair of hiking boots. All in all a great place to stay and a wonderful owner.

This place was great!! Great shower! It was clean, affordable and friendly. The owner is very nice and loaned us bear spray for our Kings Thrown hike. Recommend this place 100%!! 
Make sure you top up on groceries in Whitehorse though. The grocery store is very expensive with slim pickings .

I spent several nicht at this place in May and June. Martin, the manager, is an absolutely great guy. He is very helpful and has a lot of background knowledge of the surrounding area. The kitchen was very well equipped. within walking distance of everything in this little town. This place offers great value!!! Thank you Martin for helping Dennis and me. We really appreciated it :-) Hope to see you again.

Best hostel experiences 

Excellent stay - everything a hostel should be! 

So helpful and accommodating.  We were coming over the mountain from Alaska and had no service and kept getting disconnected.  Sam went the extra mile to try to connect with us to get us a couple beds.  It was very clean, and well taken care of.  It's a hostel, so bunk beds, but a great spot to spend the night.

The best hostel I ever stayed in!!!

Found directly behind the log church off the main highway, this is a relaxing, very friendly home-away-from-home kinda hostel. I am very happy to have met the owner, Martin, in my brief travels near Kluane.
Clean and spacious and a good place to source local info. The views are unbeatable of the Kluane front ranges. There is a good front patio to sun yourself and take it all in.
I set my tent up on one of the wood plank raised floors which has many metal hooks to secure your tent from any possible wind. A firepit for evening get-togethers with other travelers ads to the relaxing atmosphere.
I actually went out there for 4 days but on day #1,  I got into a rock climbing accident nearby and had to get to Whitehorse ASAP, so Martin was ever so kind to refund my camping and helped me get packed up. After dealing with the injury in Whitehorse, I had to go back out to Wanderer's Inn to enjoy at least one night which I did days later, regardless of the few hours drive back west.

When I go back in future years, I will only be staying here.

Classic Awesome Hostel

I arrived with Pierre who I met on the way on a bicycle. I had a problem with my tire and Martin the host helped me out to get a new tire from Whitehorse. I just wanted to stay one night but ended up staying 2 nights. Beautiful hostel and awesome helpful and friendly stuff. Would always come back! Martin helped me out big time!
