Located close to 20 different wineries 
Located close to the best restaurant called LAKEHOUSE which we highly recommend fir dinner 
This was a shared property but still felt very private 
The lake views are spectacular 
Worth every penny

Philip is so welcoming and friendly! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt we were taken care of - check in/check out was seamless, he had great recommendations for dog-friendly things to do in the area, the food was more than enough (we absolutely loved the freshly baked goods), and even let us pick some fresh raspberries from the garden.

The cabin (smaller one) itself was perfect, clean, and cozy - it overlooked the water and we fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The bed was comfortable, the BBQ was set up outside, and the space was just enough for the two of us and a dog.

When the water was calmer, we took our dog swimming and watched the magical sunset on the deck. The location was very quiet and private that it did not feel like Toronto was only an hour drive away.

Highly recommended all around and we hope to be back one day.

Philip was the perfect host. 

The cottages have wonderful rustic charm - Philip told us they’re around 100 years old - perfectly fitted out. Both right on the lake and both have everything you could need for the perfect stay including all the ingredients you need to make breakfast for for kings each day!

Our trip had a mix of gale force winds and rain and perfect blue skies - we loved both! So cozy during the storm sitting around the wood burning fire and so fabulous having a bbq in the glorious sunshine the next day overlooking the lake. 

We feel like we have been away for a week not just a weekend.

Philip was an excellent host .. our stay was so much fun. Waking up looking at at the lake was amazing. It was great to take in a few vineries and then head back to the cozy cabins .. thanks again Philip for a great 3 nights .. be back soon  

Our cottage was a bit rustic, but very clean, cozy and private. A wonderful view of Lake Ontario. Decent Wi-Fi given the remote location (which is actually very close to a number of excellent wineries and restaurants.)

Philip (the owner) is a first-rate host. He was welcoming and accommodating, even providing us with some provisions that we had forgotten to bring.

We had a wonderful time and would recommend this to anyone!

Peaceful, clean and charming.  That summarizes our experience.  We were greeted by the owner with a charming warm smile and jests.  The lovable lab, Sophie completed the picture.  We read another review that criticized the proprietor's behavior.  We didn't take offense to anything he said or did.  We found him very charming and gracious.  His knowledge of the area enhanced our stay immensely.  

The cottage was lovely and clean and the food fresh.  There was hand sanitizer, Lysol products etc inside the cottage which was appreciated. 

And nothing beats watching the sunrise over Lake Ontario.  So beautiful!

My husband and I just stayed in one of the cottages for a two night winery getaway.  Although there are two cottages on the property (plus the main house), the windows all point to beautiful scenery and the outdoor chairs is very private so that you don't even know if there is anyone else there or not. The cottage was spotless, everything felt fresh and clean and there were even real flowers inside! The sheets were so soft and the bed was very comfortable. The included items for breakfast were wonderful with a lot of variety. Next time we will be able to plan our food much better! The cottage is very close to the end of a street with a dead end so there is no drive by traffic and it is a beautiful spot to go and walk amongst the orchard trees and grape vines along the water. You can even take his dog Sophie for a walk with you and she is a very well behaved dog and very eager to go on a walk or slow jog with you. Philip is an exceptional host. He gave us a tour of the property upon our arrival and gave us full access to his spice garden, raspberry patch and veggie garden. He is very friendly and someone you can have great conversations with if you choose to do so. The location is very close to many wineries so you can go to quite a few with just a short drive home. I can't wait to book this cottage again, maybe when it is colder as I really want to try the fire place (during a heat wave it was not very appealing).

The services are great, the scenery is beautiful. It’s a nice place to take your family theres swimming, kayaks, a trampoline etc. It is also very peaceful and the people are very nice! 10/10 experience!

if you’re looking for a beautiful get away that isnt to far this is the perfect place. Phil makes you’re stay amazing by providing food and a beautiful lake to swim in along with beautiful scenery. this was definitely a win!

We enjoyed every minute of our visit to this location. The view is beautiful and the cottages are cozy! The owner is a wonderful kind hearted person who accommodates your every need! We will be going back again!

AMAZING GETAWAY!!!

We arrived from Florida yesterday amid the chaos of the covid-19 crisis and needing a place to self isolate. Our home is under reservation so we needed somewhere to cocoon and we found the perfect spot!!!! We are so fortunate to be here. It is wonderful to have the lake views our cottage is cozy and comfortable. Philip, our host, stocked the fridge and cupboards with food and fresh, bright flowers everywhere!! His attention to detail is wonderful and he is very attentive but respectful of our privacy too. We have a fire going in the wood stove, some good books and Andrea Bocelli playing. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone!! 

Gorgeous Place and Superb Host

Girls weekend away, we simply loved it here when we arrived Friday night.  We drove just over an hour, and it was relaxing to sit in those Muskoka chairs and admire the beautiful waterfront, view the CN Tower across the lake. Fully stocked fridge, plus another larger fridge we could use in the back room off the house.  Philip was the best host, friendly and very accommodating. We chose to use the BBQ for homemade pizza, and we toured the area, stopping at Port Dalhousie carousel. It’s worth the drive here, to have a ride on the carousel for 5 cents.  We had lots of laughs, much needed girls time away, relishing in the beauty of this Bed and Breakfast. 
Highly recommend....we will be back...❤️

Stunning sunset/paradise waterfront

From the warm welcome from the friendly and  knowledgeable host to the quaint cottage, this was a fantastic place for a 2 day getaway to wine country.  The view from the cottage is second to none, we very much appreciated having the bbq and kitchen facilities to have quiet breakfasts and dinner. Highly recommended!
