Lakeview Motel

Soooo friendly! very clean washroom, exterior gazebo was great for morning coffee (or late night beverage). Huge TV, very efficient air conditioner. Most important, the motel was very quiet - no noise from road or other guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview Motel. Tara is very helpful, the room was clean and new, and we were able to sit outside in a beautiful garden with a barbecue and fire pit. If we return to Canada, we will definitely stay with Tara and her wonderful Lakeview Motel again. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Ulli and Jürgen

An older motel, but very clean and very well appointed. Fridge, microwave, ice, good size TV, even beach towels! A good 3 night stay, as we visited our kids and grandkids at the Provincial Campground, nearby.

Tara and Jason are wonderful hosts! We stay there every summer with our kids and grandkids. We even have nieces and their families joining us too! Any time their is a problem it is taken care of promptly.

Good placed. Very kind host. Sparkling clean room. Christina Lake is amazing.

Great spot and the owners were very nice and helpful.

Loved the place. Quiet, clean. My only disappointment was that I got there too late to benefit from the nice patio with furniture and a fire place that is available for guests.

Well kept comfortable room.  Affordable.  Owners very welcoming.

Wonderful Motel

Friendly welcome and rooms, although older, clean and well looked after. The only area I suggest needs to be looked at is the Air Conditioning system. It is set up to not allow guests to set below 20 degrees which should be ok but we had trouble getting it below 23 degrees in the bedroom which made comfortable sleeping difficult.

It’s honestly a very small, quaint, older motel and one of our favorite stops along our road trip so far. It’s old, but they have put good effort into upgrades and we were very comfortable during our stay. We love this type of place when we’re traveling - and for a one night stop over it was nothing short of perfect!

A motel worth booking

The motel did not have a lot for amenities, but it was so clean!!  Absolutely the cleanest, shiniest, room that I have ever stayed in. It was a quiet comfortable place to rest, and I feel that it is good value for your money. Another shout out the the cleaners and owners for the pride that you take in keeping these rooms immaculate! I would definitely stay again!

Very clean! Very friendly hosts as well.  Across from your room they have a wonderful outdoor sitting area with propane fire pits that they will run at night for you to sit by the fire.  As far as I could tell they had two pits.  The grounds are kept in beautiful condition.  Beds are a bit small and low to ground if you have mobility issues, but to be fair they may have accessible rooms that I didn’t look for. Anyways I would not let this deter you from staying here. I highly recommend this place!

This is a gem! We went for a golf tournament and spent 2 nights. Our room was renovated and was spotless! Cleaner than any 5* we’ve rated at! We brought our pillows but wouldn’t next time-selection was good. Checkin was super friendly and quick. Tara is a great owner/hostess and pride of ownership shines through at this motel! We’ll be back next year!

Tara & Jason, the owners, are wonderful, kind and helpful.  The rooms are recently renovated, very clean and comfortable.  Everything looks really nice inside and out.  I especially enjoy sitting around the fire and chatting with other travelers.  It's a nice walk to the beach at the south end of Christina, and a short walk to the grocery store, post office, coffee shop (at the visitors center) and Canco (which is open late).  I have stayed here many times during the past three years for both work and holidays.  Lakeview is perfect for both.

Best Place to Stay at Christina for Work or Holidays !!

This is a very well maintained Motel! Pride of ownership is evident in the details. Moen 
Fixtures, carful painting and trim, Very clean!
It was perfect, for us, for just one night, traveling through to Penticton BC.
Everything we needed for a one night stay. We were traveling early November, off season, and the price was very reasonable. Perfect for us! 
This would be even better for a family and, or, a longer stay! 
Tara, owner, with her husband Jason, says more than half the rooms have kitchens. Although we didn't use it, there is a very nice covered, Barbecue/Lounging/Socializing/ Smoking area with a fire pit. I did notice a pile of split wood that I assume was for the fire pit.
There is a takeout pizza close by.
For those staying longer, and making use of the available kitchen, Barbecue area  there is a well stocked grocery store, very near the motel. Doing your own cooking, especially for a family is a great money saver, from our experience, especially traveling with a family!

We intend to stop by on our return trip! It really was that good, for us!

Just Perfect For A Senior Couple Traveling Through! Even Better....

We have stayed twice recently at this extra clean and well looked-after property. 

Tara, the lady who checked us in each time, was very pleasant and helpful.
Each stay was for one-night only, as we travelling from Toronto to Vancouver, and back a couple of weeks later. 

We rested well here, and will return again if we have the opportunity.

Bonus: the nearby Portly Penguin pizza place has excellent pizza, and lots of variety.

Definitely recommended - clean & comfortable

This looks like an ordinary, older typical motel but it is well-equipped, very clean, roomy, and has parking right in front of the rooms.  Strong wifi.  Pleasant, helpful woman in the office.

A covered area with lawn furniture for the guests.

Right next to the highway with a grocery store nearby.

The price is right.

We'd definitely stay here again.
