We loved our stay at this lovely motel. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.  The breakfast was wonderful.  The rooms were spotless - immaculately clean.  Be sure to book a 1 hr guided tour at Maurice Lamontagne Institute.  We had three generations of visitors and we all enjoyed it!!  Also stop at Les Bleuets du Vire-Crêpes on your way from Montreal.

We stayed in one of the 9 motel rooms. Great staff, very clean rooms, well-maintained property. Ginette serves a tasty breakfast of her home-made bread, jam, and "creton" with juice and coffee or tea for $6. (There is no other restaurant on the property, but Ginette will guide you to others.) We paid $100/night for two people for a motel room with full bathroom, tv, bar fridge and queen-size bed - all taxes included - which was the best price in the area. It is a very quiet property. The wi-fi was intermittent, but they were working on the problem. You can walk to Les Jardins de Metis in ten minutes.  Buy your discounted entry ticket to the gardens from Ginette for $34 cash(regular price is $40). We would highly recommend this family friendly motel to anyone.

We stopped there for 2 nights to visit family.  Mostly for seasonal campers.  We had a 2 services site which was fine with us.

Down side: no dumping station. We were told to use a sewer connection beside the one from a seasonal.  A little tricky but fine in the end.  Also no drinkable water.

Good side:  Ginette makes a wonderful "pain de fesses", homemade bread typical of the area.  She even gave us half of one right out of the oven...

Wonderfully friendly owners. Ten-minute walk to the Reford Gardens (Les Jardins Metis).

Nice for an overnight

Very disappointed to see a "water non potable" sign in the reception area when we went to check in with our motor home. We left,  as we were unwilling to risk contaminating our system,  and wanted water hookup as opposed to the fill-up which we were offered from a safe tap at the motel.
