Perfect stay. Staff accommodated an eatly check in. Room was large.  Clean and comfortable.  Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is dated but very clean.  The staff were accommodating and wonderful.

The hotel I usually stay at in Gander was sold out, so I ended up staying at Sinbad's this year.  I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite which gave me a lot of space, well more than I needed.  The hotel interior has a dated look as other reviews have mentioned, but I was very comfortable and the staff were all lovely.  An advantage this hotel has over others in town is that its location is more central and so there are more places to go that are within walking distance.

I saw a lot of complaints about the breakfast but that wasn't important to me; I always like to have toutons for breakfast at the Bread Box which is in the plaza across the street.

The only problem I encountered was finding a parking space after coming back from a show late at night.  Since I knew I'd be leaving at around 4am the next morning to head to the airport, I took the liberty of parking somewhere that I'm not sure I was meant to.

Pleasant stay

The hotel was ok, not splendid, but not bad. On a hot, muggy day, I appreciated the housekeeper leaving the air conditioning on full. The included buffet breakfast offered scrambled eggs, 3 types of breakfast meat and toast. Servers seated guests and brought them drinks: coffee, tea, juice and water. They replenished them all. Usefully, they left a carafe on the table with a couple of cups of coffee in it. Parking might be a bit troublesome. I arrived at quarter to four and got the last space in the front lot. From my window at the back, I saw numbered parking stalls. Perhaps they belonged to the hotel.The hotel is directly across the road from a large mall with a supermarket, Canadian Tire and Mcdonald's, among other stores.The hotel takes dogs. When I was checking out, a woman with a dog was waiting for a housekeeper to check her room for dog damage before her party could check out.I would stay here again unless I could find a better deal at another similar hotel in Gander.

We arrived on Aug 19th for 2 nights, and my parents were with us. The check-in was perfect, our room was ready by 3, they had a bus arriving at the same time but we weren't rushed.  They 2 ladies were very pleasant & welcoming. The restaurant wasn't open due to staff being sick. (Being short staffed is common in NL this yr) She did recommend some restaurants close by, and she did inform us that breakfast would be going ahead.  They were  really short staffed on Sunday,  but  breakfast was awesome on both days. Staff was so pleasant & friendly. 
Our room overall was good. We had a very nice washroom,  but an high rise toilet would be good. The carpet was a little dated.  And the 2 chairs in the room weren't great. Now the beds! Oh, they were so comfy, I didn't want to get up!  Would have liked to have seen a few more disability parking spots out front. Overall, it was a great stay. I will definitely stay there again!

I really enjoyed this Hotel, the had Absolutely Huge rooms with a great king sized bed that was super comfortable, my partner and I had great sleeps, however you can hear the people above and to the side of you in other rooms. Also the carpet really needs to be changed out. One thing I would like to see also added would be a fan in the bathroom.

The breakfast service was dreadful, it wasn't the servers fault they are just completely understaffed, bad management decisions I believe.

The Hotel is situated near the airport and right off the main highway being a great location.

Beds are  very comfortable,  room is very clean. The only thing is the room was cold. Would be nice if the heat had been turned on. Have not had the buffet breakfast yet, i am sure it is very good. ❤️

Great Hotel

The heating system was very noisy had to turn off to sleep.

Overall stay was good. Dining room was a disapointment. Onion soup luke warm at best. Steak was overcooked. Servers were excellent. Kitchen needs a shake up, almost two hours before our meal showed up. Same thing on my last visit.
