Sleepy Hollow B&B

We had a wonderful stay at Sleepy Hollow.  Perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants and shopping.  Don and Marion were such gracious hosts.  They welcomed us into their lovely home which is filled with antiques.   Every little detail was done with such thoughtfulness.  Breakfast was simply amazing, with  little touches that made the breakfast so special.   A must stay if you visit Gananoque!

Sleepy Hollow is a warm and inviting home.  There is so much care that goes into running this B&B and it shows throughout the house with such attention to details.  We were happy to return here as we came through Gananoque again!!  More memories to grow on...

Stayed there for two nights in Travencore ! Marion and Don were great hosts . Their breakfasts were very good and made with TLC.  I highly recommend staying there . Lots of trials for cycling and Great little beaches along the way . Great three days in Gananoque.

We just spent a beautiful weekend at the Sleepy Hollow. Don and Marion are wonderful hosts. Location is great. Breakfast is delicious. Beds are very comfortable. The home and garden are so well kept. We took so many pictures.We loved all the antiques and their attention to detail from the Villeroy & Boch coffee cups at the table to the candy in our room. Thank you for a memorable stay. We can’t wait to return. 

King-sized bed was comfortable.  Jet tub was very relaxing.  No bar fridge in room, but owner gave us ice.  Century old home is well appointed and has great character.  Breakfast choices are plentiful and delicious.  They've been in business for 18 years and it shows why.

My father, brother, and I do a yearly trip to Gananoque, and have stayed at Sleepy Hollow B&B for the last several years.  We always really enjoy our time there.  Marion and Don are both excellent, gracious hosts, who put together a glorious breakfast each morning.  They have great advice about what to see in town, and always willing to help set up a reservation or get tickets to a show.  The accommodations are very clean and comfortable.  We look forward to coming for a visit next year.

My sons and I have been staying at Sleepy Hollow for 7 straight years and every one of them has been a wonderful experience.  Don and Marion Matthews are terrific hosts in a very comfortable atmosphere.  You could not find a more helpful duo to provide you assistance in making your trip interesting and enjoyable and the breakfast are delicious.

Thank you Don & Marion for a very comfy stay at Sleepy Hollow. We loved your quaint home very cosy & full of history & interesting collections. Bed was very comfortable & all amenities very clean. Breakfast was amazing with a different presentation each day, fresh flowers & delicious choices. On our last day we had to leave early & Marion packed a yummy lunch for us, including home made cookies & homemade jam. A very friendly welcoming couple, who helped us when we needed anything. Our stay was quiet & peaceful & we enjoyed exploring Gananoque very much.

For two short nights we happily experienced the gratious welcome of our hosts. Wonderful breakfasts, warm and interesting conversations and the sharing of the love for music highlighted our stay in this wonderful place.  Highly recommended for those appreciating quality and discrete home style hospitality.

What an amazing place the Sleepy Hollow is.  I have to say when we first arrived it took us back a bit as as a previous person commented it was something that could fit into a Hitchcock Thriller film, especially the dolls on the second landing.  But having said all that it was all spotlessly clean, and so fascinating to wander around, we had a room on the top floor which had a double bed and the private bathroom was across the landing.  It was all very clean and the breakfasts where to die for.  It was only a 10 minute walk into the town were there was plenty of shops and restaurants.  I would recommend anybody to stay here.
