I’ve stayed here many times , it’s not swanky but it doesn’t the job and has super comfortable beds .

The fire detector went off, but wasn’t asleep yet so no problem but everything else was good

Great staff , clean comfortable rooms.   Staff is great, very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Friendly and accommodating staffs.Clean room equipped with refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, kitchen sink, exhaust fan/range hood, plates, mugs, cutleries, drying rack and more.Happily surprised that options for the breakfast that's included were pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, bread slices, bagels, muffins, yogurt, etc. Will be happy to stay here again next time we visit Fort McMurray again.

Very friendly staff, the location was amazing. All you could want distance from the hotel.

The newly renovated rooms are very nice and comfortable. The hotel and rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and it was very quiet while we were there. Downtown location is great, close to lots of shopping and food options. Starbucks is just half a block away! Breakfast was just okay. The pancake maker is great! The juice and coffee machines weren't working, which was disappointing, however they did have a small Keurig machine available. I would have liked to see a decaf coffee option, but I didn't ask for one so I'm not sure if they have one.Overall we were happy with our stay.

Property is pretty clean but older furniture. I guess this why the price was reasonable. Ladies at front were friendly. Breakfast was decent. They had a pancake machine, sausages and scrambled eggs. They also had fruits, yogurt, bread and muffins. Original Joe's and Mr. Mike were in walking distance about 3 mins.

Decent stay

Upon entering the hotel the lobby makes the place look immaculate as it is so clean. However, once you make your way around the corner and up the stairs,yes i said stairs as there's no elevator. The building and halls are outdated. The room itself was clean and staff very nice but I wouldn't stay again. Also,no hair dryer in the bathroom.

Fantastic hotel in a great location in downtown Fort McMurray, nearby grocery shops, restaurants, cafés, and the bus stop. It was very convenient, particularly in winter, when the temperature outside was -35 degrees.
My room was large and comfortable, with a separate  seating area and a kitchen that had everything I could possibly need for my stay. The bathroom was impeccably clean (as well as the whole bedroom) and had a shower-bathtub with good water pressure. 
My bed and pillows were very  comfortable too.
Having free coffee and tea throughout the day and night was very welcome too.
Nevertheless, the best part of my stay was, without any doubt, the amazing staff, particularly Grace and Anne, who were always ready to provide help and advice. I will return!

Fantastic downtown hotel in Fort McMurray

Nothing bad to report. The latch on the screen door came apart so mentioned it to front desk and it was fixed or replaced with in the hour. Awesome response time in my opinion. The ladies at the front desk have helped us with a couple other things that I think makes them exceptional employees. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to stay. 👍👍

Very spacious rooms, exceptional customer service, warm vibes! Definitely my new favourite place to stay in fort mcmurray with competitive rates, snacks, grade selection of beverages, and quality breakfast, as far as hotel breakfast goes best variety I’ve even thus far. Thank you thank you all for the wonderful experience I will be visiting Franklin Inn and Suites again

Clean inn with a functional kitchenette in the room. It’s minimalist, but it works. The staff was genuinely nice and access and location easy. The main con : breakfast setup have the strange ability to be pretty empty and messy at the same time. Breads are stacked in hard to open plastic boxes, fruits aren’t ripe enough to be eaten and the pancake machine is a mysterious objet that none of the custom saw were able to use. All in all, a decent option downtown Gort Mac.

This is a really good mid range option. We just had a five night stop here, the hotel is well located in the centre. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are good an£ comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has hot and cold options and is plentiful and well laid out. 
We are returning for another seven nights in a couple of weeks and look forward to it 

Good quality at a great price 

For what you pay for a room here you get more than your money's worth, compared to the other places around. Heads up, their "queen" size beds are really "doubles". Their breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, there was a pancake making machine (fresh to order), variety of juice, cereals and pastries. Room was very clean, TV is a new LCD, lots of channels, decent wifi. You need to ask for a hair dryer at the front desk if you need one. You get two bottles of water at check in, didn't ask on my second night if I could have another, so not sure if they give you more. Plenty of parking space.
