We stayed at the Twisted Timber in August while attending our daughter's wedding in Fernie.   Susan and Andre were extremely welcoming and helpful.  Susan went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.  Her breakfasts are top-notch, it felt like you were in a fancy /high-end restaurant, Susan is an amazing chef with great attention to detail.  We rented both rooms, both were very comfortable.  You will not be disappointed - Best B&B in Fernie!  We will be back!

We stayed at the twisted timber guesthouse at the beginning of October just when the snows had started to arrive. 

The hosts Susan and Andre were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Their beautiful home was an ideal location for what we wanted to do, which was explore the area on foot and by bike.

Susan’s breakfast were to die for, and Andre’s advice on where to go and what to do was very useful. 

We loved the area and would certainly go back, feeling very much at home. 

We were also fortunate to see Elk and a couple of bears whilst cycling around Fernie.

We stayed here for 3 nights and Susan and Andre made us feel extremely welcome. The first night was a little rough as we were completely unused to the furnace and hot air system coming on but was no problem the other nights and slept happily. We stayed in the duck room (you'll understand the naming when you see it) and found it to be great, especially with its own ensuite.

The breakfasts Susan made were fantastic and set you up for the day. Over the 3 mornings we had eggs benedict (salmon or ham), belgian waffles (the lightest i'd ever had!) and coddled eggs.

Their recommendations for places to eat and visit were spot on.

We stayed during winter//spring for ski-ing and found the B and B extremely comfortable and warm. Very peaceful with lovely views of the surrounding nature, a very high quality property. Susan's breakfasts were wonderful. There is a shared tv lounge for guests downstairs. We loved Fernie town and ski mountain which is extensive and offers both beginner and advanced skiing. We even saw a moose and her calf on the ski field. Thankyou Susan and Andre for the help taping up our ski bag which had broken.

I had the pleasure to stay in this B&B while attending a conference in Fernie. The place is located a bit out of town but it will take you only 5 mins to drive to the city core.
The place is spotless and you can tell the hosts have done an excellent job setting up to place to be top-notch. 
Rooms are clean, bright, and spacious. Each one has its own bathroom with amenities you can expect in a 5-stars hotel. 
The social area is shared but it is also very nice. 
The breakfasts are probably better than any restaurant in town. They alone are worth the stay. 
Most impressive, the site is so calm. You barely hear anything other than the sounds of nature. A great place to relax. 

what a wonderful place to stay. Susan and Andre made our holiday in Canada. The room was,very comfortable with a nice lounge area to relax in. Susan is a wonderful cook and not only did the  breakfast taste great the presentation was also wonderful. You cannot visit the rockies and not stay at Twisted Timber. We also met a lovely couple from Hustan and will treasure the memories of our stay forever. PS Susan gives great feedback on reversing.
