Comfortable, clean, spacious, and beautiful! Mark was always available and very helpful.

Lovely location and accommodation with a real cottage feel. The place was warm and cozy when we arrived and views over lang lake in autumn were beautiful. The lake was at our doorstep and we brought our own bedding, but they will provide if needed. They are very accommodating Hosts.

We arrived at short notice - same day booking - to stay and we were given a lovely chalet for 2 overlooking the lake. It was a beautiful sunny fall day so we spent quite a bit of time on the dock admiring the view and throwing a ball for our dog into the water. The bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped and stay was delightful.

Beautiful view.  The hosts are very accommodating.   Clean and friendly.   Great swimming.

Serene unobstructed view of the lake.  Spacious cabin.  Quiet area perfect for getting away from the city.  Natural landscapes there are beautiful.  Short drive to nearby town.

Cottage was lakefront, view was great. Washroom a little tight. Had rain all night when we stayed and lots of killer mosquitoes next day. Still reeling from mosquito bites lol. Pack good amount of repellents if planning to stay. Very serene and quiet for relaxation. Only twelve minutes drive from town of Espanola. Mark and his dad were were very accommodating and communicative.Overall, it was great.

As Canada's top UFO Hunter & The lead researcher of the Unknown Intelligence Communication Project (UICP),  I can honestly tell you that the Espanola area and Lang Lake resort in particular, is a high volume UFO traffic cordor  Which presents unique opportunities to view unknown anomalies in the night sky.

We had a great stay and the host was extremely helpful. Provided everything we needed.

My family and I absolutely had the most wonderful time at the cottage. It was beautiful and the view was absolutely stunning. We will definitely be making this a yearly thing. We'd like to start going every summer and maybe winter. Weather was cold but we still had a blast and loved the wood stove. We will definitely recommend lang lakes to people.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights.  Management was very inviting and responsive to our needs. The cabin was immaculate and had all the things we required for our stay!  It was a ten minute drive to town for groceries or other needs. The only concern we’d have is that not all patio chairs were in the best of shape, so not all of us necessarily had something to sit on while out on the deck.

Pros.  Mark was a great host for our visit.  Anything we needed the staff here made sure we got.  We got blankets and pillows supplied and for an extra fee got sheets for all the beds and towels for the bathroom less we had to pack.  This resort is right on the water and we had fantastic views of the lake.  The cottage #8 had recently been redone so everything was new.  Had a TV with satellite but no internet.  Beds were comfortable and the cabin had 3 bedrooms and living room, bathroom with a shower and kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave. Rented A pontoon boat for the whole week and the cottages had thier own docks so we could park it right outside for easy access.  They had thier own gas pump right on site so anytime we needed to top up it was easy.  The resort also had canoes and paddle boards for a fee to use for the day.  The resort was only 10 minutes from town which made it easy when we had to run and grab something.  The lake was great to swim in and the docks had ladders attached to get in and out of the water.  The lake had spectacular fishing caught alot of bass large and small mouth and even a couple of walleye.
Now for the few cons.  The pontoon boat had seen better days and could have used a major power washing of the seats and floors.  The motor when we were out would occasionally sputter when pushed above 3 RPMS although it had a 60 horse power motor.  The front gate was totally missing and had a rope across it and the lights weren't working so we couldn't be out after dark.
All in all a great vacation and would definately would visit here again

Great little Gem

For people who tent camp, this was a treat. The appliances worked really well and the cottage was warm and relatively quiet. Parts of the cottage had been renovated and upkeep was great.  It was disappointing to be given one towel for two to share but thankfully we brought along things like towels and toilet paper etc which were in short supply. As our plans were to explore Manitoulin Island, we were close to everything we wanted to do and see. However, there did not appear to be a lot to do at the resort outside of renting a boat if you wished.  The view though was worth a million dollars!!!

Never had a chance to stay here as we had to cancel our reservations due to an illness in one of our party. We had submitted our deposit cheque months ahead but were dubious we would ever see that money again. Happily our refund cheque arrived about 2 weeks after our original booking date exactly as stated in their rate and refunds policy. This is one resort you can trust and for sure we will book with them again. Thanks Aizenberg family.

Trustworthy owners

We spent the May long weekend here. Although the weather was wet, we had a very relaxing stay. Cabin 9 is a great cabin, very close to the water. It has corner windows on both ends, giving beautiful views to the east, south and north, and light comes in all day. The cabin is rustic and charming, like the cottages of our youth, before Muskoka got crazy with 5000 square foot McMansions. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and fully equipped. The owners are helpful and hospitable, and they allow dogs. There is a snowmobile trail right off the property, making dog walking very easy. Lang Lk is a very pretty lake, and we hope for better weather on our next visit, so we can rent one of their boats and explore more of this (mostly) undeveloped lake. Although this is a semi-wilderness location, there is excellent cell service, and groceries & supplies are available only 15 minutes away in Espanola. Best of both worlds!

Beautiful setting, restful weekend

We drove past the sign for this resort needing a place to rest our heads for the night.  We called and they held the room for us while we went into town (only a few minutes away) to buy groceries. The owner was great and very accommodating. Knowing that we weren't  prepared for a camping experience he didn't charge us for sheets/towels.  Since our cabin wasn't rented the following night he offered us a late checkout without us asking.
#8 was the perfect size for us and our two small kids. Right on the lake with a fire pit, BBQ and chairs.  It beat any hotel/motel we would've ended up pulling into instead. I'd recommend this place for their amazing hospitality and friendliness and of course the cleanliness of the cabin and it's superb location!
