This is definitely a property to avoid unless you're desperate. We got here and the staff was friendly and "upgraded" our room because I requested a quiet room as I'm a light sleeper.The room was in bad shape, needs repairs and patchwork everywhere; the kitchen window had no cover to keep the bright light out; the bed, very uncomfortable, and very squeaky. I asked for a quiet room since I'm a light sleeper, and a kid and family were above me, even though I asked for this not to happen. The manager said it was only a guy, but I could clearly hear a kid hanging around. The free breakfast - coffee, muffins (which they ask you don't take a full on), bananas, and cereal (with no place to eat it). Just don't stay here unless you're desperate or cheap. But remember, you get what you pay for, this place isn't worth it.

I did book cheap I know but police were on property while I was there. The property was poorly renovated.   The room was very small. The washroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

I read the reviews and assumed the bad experiences were exaggerated. They were not.Rooms are scuzzy, blood and brown stains on the linen and towels. The amount of hair on and under every linen was absurd, even in the fridge and freezer! The surface of the furniture has bacteria cultures thriving and booger goblins are visible. Me and my wife didn't take off our shoes as the floor was equally disgusting. Bathroom exhaust fan didn't work either but there was a complimentary condomfor us.As it was our first time there we were told we would pay $50 not the standard $70. Upon booking out this was not the case and they shafted us an additional $50 from the damage deposit. Just down right dirty and an unpleasant experience all in all.If i were expedia i wouldn't associate my name with this business.

So I would like to start off by saying if it didn't end the way it did, Chateau Motel would have gotten 5 stars from me and let's be clear the woman and the older gentleman were amazing they truly were more than accommodating! We (myself and cousin inlaw along with my service dog) stayed for a week and the last night sorry "earlie mourning" we were there we were woken up by a man that I had only seen work there 2 times and from the moment I seen him the 1st time I had about feeling that there would be problems. We were fleeing a life threatening situation so we were given a 5 night hotel stay at Chateau Motel and on the 17 we paid out of pocket than the 18th we were told by a worker that our accommodations would be extended a few more days till we got the keys to the new place well the fax hadn't gone through due to it being 430pm and the office closed but I did receive and email stating the delay and confirming the request was granted and if the fax hadn't made it it would be send 1st thing that following morning (this mourning) instead of enjoying what was supposed to be our safe sleep turned in to the desk guy banging on the door saying pay or stay along with some black guy saying 45 mins and telling the desk Jockey what to say but than gets on the phone saying I run this city and I run the cops like whoa what? So call them! But than it became so clear the woman in there are working girls and the 55+ black men that live throughout the building are clearly running that whole show pretty sure lucky I was able to leave! Like who kicks guests fleeing danger out at 130am with nowhere to go. Despite the confirmation email they had received.... Nobody! He kept on saying pay to stay pay to stay

Was Decent enough for a night to sleep ! The front desk is very small, and took a little while for someone to greet us, once he did we were in fast. Room was average, noticed a few stains on the bed, and blood on the back of the bathroom door. Creepy, They do have Netflix tho ! So that was awesome ! Would recommend, having a couple bottles of water for your guests.

To begin with the property did not give me the room I paid for. I paid for a family suite and ended up getting two beds and the fridge. The fridge didn’t even work. The room itself was disgusting and dirty when I entered nothing was cleaned. The shower had mould on the walls and the roof. As well as stated another reviews I didn’t want to take my shoes off either. On my first night they had guests party all night and kept us awake. I tried calling the desk and nobody answered so I had to call Edmonton police. The only resolution in the next day was the owner told me that they were just dirty disgusting gypsies who always destroy the property. That’s not the way you handle it. I couldn’t get my door to lock or stay locked unless I was in the room and locked the dead bolt. The worst part of this hotel is the prostitution that happens in it. It was absolutely disgusting and I will never stay again, save your money and go anywhere else. I contacted Edmonton police twice while I visited. Not a great vacation at all.
