Room was super clean, sheets smelled amazing, staff was awesome.  Would stay there again!!!

Staff was friendly and room was clean. Price was reasonable too.

Well run and friendly management. Close to downtown and food. Right across from the lake! The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom could use more counter space and hooks to hang towels by the shower rather than across the room a lot of wasted space in a massive bathroom. The air conditioner is not at all efficient. It rarely came on the first night so we sweltered through the night. We had to have it cranked right up to get it to work properly in intervals the second night. It is also very noisy when it runs. Other than that, it was a nice stay in a great location for the long weekend!

We had a very nice two day stay at this motel. It was nice and clean. The people were friendly.  The only request I would make is to add a mirror in the room somewhere because the only mirror was in the bathroom and that made getting dressed a bit of a challenge. The shower in our room was very small. Other than those two things, everything else was nice.

The location,  has lake view, and forest hill on back, 2min walk to park, 5min walk to Haliburton village, perfect for ppl who just want take a break from driving, and do everything on foot. Idk how ratings work, they gave this motel 2 star, i give a 4, very clean, organized,  staff friendly and they like to share. Ill be definitely back.ty.

Was pleasantly surprised, because used to staying in higher end Hotels.  This place was great!  Supper quiet, beds were excellent, great pillows and clean crisp sheets.  The place was super clean including shower.   i had a great sleep and felt safe.    Excellent service as well. Highly recommend this one.

I have stayed at the Silver Maple Motel on my past two business trips to Haliburton.  It is not fancy, but very comfortable for my purposes.  The property is well maintained, the unit is clean, the bed is comfortable and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.The room furnishings are spartan.  Other than the two beds, here is only a love seat, a desk and a desk chair.  I did not use the love seat, but appreciated that the desk was large enough for me to spread out my papers while working or in a virtual conference.  This motel has all that I want or need on a business trip and I recommend it highly for anyone looking for comfortable accommodation at good value.

Business Trip to Haliburton

Room was very clean.  Bed was comfortable.  There was no shampoo in the bathroom, but I always bring my own so it was not a problem.The parking lot was a bit treacherous, because much of it is on a slope and there was significant snowfall overnight.  However, the snow had been cleared and there is not much the management can do about the slope.The staff are excellent.  Professional, cheerful and extremely helpful.I will stay there next time I am in the area.

Business Trip in Haliburton County

My two sons and I stayed here as we were dogsledding just north of Haliburton. This was a pleasant, clean and simple motel which was perfect for our needs. The beds and pillows were comfortable and all of the linens including towels were new and bright. We will stay here again.
