This was our first experience in a B&B and spoiled us for any other. The surroundings was in a forest setting the deer and birds were amazing. So many humming birds out our window in the Humming Bird Room. The breakfast were delicious and appealing. I loved the flowers on our fruit. Ingrid made us feel so at home. Ingrid was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and helpful in suggesting places we could visit.  The room was homey and comfortable we had everything we needed.  Her home is impeccable and her eye for detail was amazing.

Cobble House was a perfect place to stay

My husband and I spent 6 nights sharing Ingrid's beautiful home while we did day trips around the neighbourhood enjoying some splendid wineries, and local attractions.  From the moment we arrived and put our luggage into the Jay room, we felt at home.  The king-sized bed was very comfortable and the room offered us space and comfortable seating options.  When we returned each evening we could put our feet up and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.  Unfortunately the weather was cool and so we didn't get out to enjoy the back deck.  Each morning as we anticipated another amazingly beautiful and tasteful breakfast we had the pleasure of watching a doe and two fawns eating along the drive.  Ingrid is an amazing chef and each morning we had something exciting and new.  She took into consideration my allergies and medical conditions without making me feel that I was creating a challenge.  Thank you for being so kind.  We only wish we had known about this B&B when we were last on the island!

Wine and Relaxation

We spent 4 nights at Cobble House and were sad to leave. A beautiful haven where Ingrid has lovingly created a beautiful home totally in tune with the surrounding nature.
Our bedroom overlooked the back garden where we regularly saw deer, rabbits, squirrels, hummingbirds and a variety of other birds. Ingrids breakfasts were a delight, and we found the area full of wonderful places to visit. There were plenty of local restaurants to enjoy in the evening. A memorable stay, thank you.

Peace and relaxation

What a perfect rural setting for a B&B, so quiet & peaceful , we were greeted by Ingrid who immediately made us feel so welcome & at home. Their home was spotless & so tastefully furnished & our room the Jay Room was just lovely , from the comfy seating to the luxurious king-size bed, it couldn't have been more perfect . The bathroom had all the amenities but also all the little touches  , from lovely fluffy towels, to a variety of body washes, soaps & lotions &best of all a goodly supply of hot water. My husband especially enjoyed the lovely deck with all the plants & flowers  & the bird feeders nearby. We both got lots of exercise walking the countryside , & visiting the nearby Cidery. This was our first experience with a B&B  & thanks to Ingrid & Simon & their friendly, caring & welcoming personalities & their attention to detail & service, it definitely won't be our last. We will recommend this B&B to any & all who are journeying out to that part of the country.

Three Days Of Total Relaxation In Beautiful Surroundings

This is our second visit to Cobble Hill Bed and Breakfast.  It would be more but we do not plan far enough ahead and the rooms are often taken. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean and well decorated.  
Ingrid is very congenial and the breakfast is quite enjoyable. If you find yourself with spare time, Ingrid is a wealth of information on local events and locations. She has years of experience in operating a B&B and it shows. 
Cobble Housel will always be our first choice for staying in the Cobble Hill area.
