Very nice people in the front desk! Stayed for one bight here with my family. Really nice and quiet.

It served for a nice quick convenient stay on our way through. Possibly better road signs would be nice. Still great value.

I feel like I'm comfortably at home. Everything we need in temporary stay is available, and the price is just exactly affordable 👌

There was only one electrical outlet in the bedroom. However, I appreciated that an extension cord was provided. The building looked a bit tired but not shabby and it was close to dining options. The owners were lovely and very helpful and accommodating.

This motel is quite and easy for parking, staff are very friendly.

We stayed at the Ace Western for one night when we were traveling through Clearwater. The outside of the motel was top notch clean which is always a good sign. We asked to look at the room before committing and Mr. Owner gladly obliged. The room had new carpet. Comfy bed and pillows. Small bathroom but clean. And it was supper quiet. It’s an older establishment but well managed and maintained. And the price was right. With friendly service. I’d stay again.

Friendly and clean accommodations.

I did not like the fact that the door to my room did not shut and lock properly.  The room was dirty and the bedspread had stains on it.  Plus it was unsafe with people asking me for money and drug users.  I am seventy years old and my husband the same. Plus he is disabled.  Very unsafe.  I would like a complete refund. Immediately. we stopped in for a trip to the interior and the location is very good. The main bad thing was that the rooms are not well sound proofed and the people above us had several showers and it was noisy. Otherwise a decent choice. We did leave an item behind but emailed and they kept it for us. Much appreciated.

This is a good value standard motel - nothing fancy but with comfortable beds, good shower and helpful staff. We were on the way to Jasper from Vancouver and it was the perfect stop-off because it didn’t take us off Highway 5 so we didn’t lose any time in the morning. The hotel itself is just off a roundabout which doesn’t sound great, except everything you need is also there - excellent park visitor centre, gas station, shopping and places to eat. Suggest Hop and Hog for dinner (popular, so book) and cute veggie cafe called Wild Flour for breakfast. It’s also super-convenient for driving to the Wells Grey park (a free park). We only had a couple of hours but saw three awesome waterfalls.

Make sure you have instructions to find it.  Not an issue with the Motel but with Clearwater itself which has arrows pointing in all directions to 'business' areas. The Motel is visible coming from the North but if you are new to the town and coming from the South, you can wander around looking for motel in various business zones. Entrance to the property is at the back once you find it.

We had two nights in Clearwater and this little gem delivered in spades. It's close to amenities you can walk to. It's great for families or couples. The owners were attentive. They have stock of items you may need like a kettle, books in various languages, cutlery etc. There is table in room to eat and picnic tables outside. It's quiet and very clean. We'd stay here again if in the area.

Wonderful Place to Stay

It had all the needed basics for a quick travelling-thru overnight stay. The check-in clerk was very nice. I had a ground floor room so I heard the fellow in the room above. Good thing he went to sleep early so it didn't really bother me. Worse was a guy in a white pickup truck in the arena's overflow parking lot playing disgustingly loud music and thankfully he left before I went to sleep. I did have a good sleep after all.

OK for an Overnight Stay

This is NOT a fancy place full of amenities by any means. But it is clean, the staff is excellent and it is very quiet. I couldn’t believe how quiet the room was for being right next to the highway! As an added bonus, the Old Caboose pub is right there and has delicious food with huge portions!!  Would stay there again!
