The room was large and had a good kitchen. We went to look for an eatery for an evening meal but none looked appetizing so we bought food and cooked it in our room - result. 
The floor of the shower was slippery and really needed a mat.
The room decor was very dated but clean and comfortable.
The breakfast room is not manned but is covered with CCTV. It stated this was to prevent people removing food from the area. I can only suppose this had been a problem  but I felt uncomfortable at the thought that we were on camera whilst eating our breakfast.
A relatively simple but wholesome complimentary continental breakfast was provided.
The receptionist was most helpful and very friendly.

Large Rooms Quiet Location

The motel is only a few minutes from the Campbell River and an ideal base for a fishing holiday with other rivers and lakes within reasonable travelling distance. The 3 bedroom cabin I shared with friends was well suited to our requirements.  There was a lovely wooden gazebo with an excellent gas barbecue - ideal for  alfresco meals. And the kitchen was well equipped with fridge-freezer, microwave range type cooker and microwave. Good shower over the bath and comfortable beds. The breakfast room was close by with a reasonable selection of cereals, fruit, breads, croissants, etc. The drying room was particularly useful, complete with a great boot and wader dryer as well as rails and hangers for wet clothing. (Ideal for when you've fallen in the river!) The owner and staff were friendly and helpful and the room service was excellent. The prices are reasonable.

Ideal Motel for Salmon fishing

This place is not worth for the price we paid! Its very dated. 
The carpets are old and needs to be replaced. The linoleum floors are scratched. The room is small.  

Their continental breakfast are very limited.

Large rooms and very clean, this hotel is in a quiet area next to a river.  The staff are friendly, the continental breakfast is average but there is a cute little diner just a block away.  I recommend this hotel if you don't want anything fancy; just quiet and comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and affordable

This is a basic, low-budget motel with very large, clean rooms. The rooms all have full kitchens, which is great if you're on a budget. It's pet-friendly, and we had no hassles about our dog. The beds were very comfortable. It's not much to look at, but it was a veyr comfortable stay at a very good price. The motel breakfast is kind of gross, but less than one minute away, there is the Ideal Cafe, a legendary local breakfast spot. The motel is a very good value.

Great motel equipped x the fishermen with grill and pergola, room heated to dry the boots and wet clothes, laundry room, buffet breakfast room, excellent and abundant clean and spacious rooms the staff very sociable and available affordable price especially if you are in three or four the shopping is really irresistible near the malls and the river and even the attractions store x the fishing the only sin that you can not cook in the room you can only make a coffee.

Fishing bit

The ideal solution for those who go to Campbell River to fish. The rooms are very simple but there is a dry room where you can dry the waders at the end of the day. Also, if you have caught fish there is a large common aquarium where you can clean your fish comfortably. Breakfast, which is very essential, is available from 5am. You can also opt for a cabin, an independent cabin with cooking corner.
