Ease of getting to and quite.  Just off mass transit.  Large room with sofa.  Breakfast could be better but was aquate.  We traveled to Banff and Drumheller from there.  Problem with the shower drain but we didn't report it until we checked out.

Old but good.

When booking by Phone a week in advance, I indicated being a Cancer servivor, and needing 1st Floor ... Assured me this would happen, and gave me a Booking Reference number. When I arrived, this not honored, and overnight very few 1st Floor suites actually rented. ( This the Policy to keep 1st Floor suites for later bookings ... will never Book in Advance again! And, will not use Motel again either!)

The hotel is what it is.   The head did not work and I had to ask for a heater to be brought to the room which I was told I would have to go down to the front desk and get it myself.  The first room I was in the internet did not work and when contacting the front desk, her answer was that there is nothing they could do until the night auditor came in 5 hours later.  She never offered to give me a new room until I had to ask if there was another one.

room was clean, mattress sagging and very uncomfortable, pain peeling on bathroom walls,curtains hanging beacause of no hooks, tv volume too lound and could not be changed lower.. just rundown in general.  staff was passable but did not make you feel like you were welcome.  would not return to this motel of advise others to stay here.

you get what you pay for

housekeeping didnt come even single time. no heating in the room. price doesnt justify poorly managed place. i have worked in motel as a student i did better organisation. tsk tsk
