All of the workers,always checking if we needed any thing,very clean,big bonus air conditioning. Coffee and tea at front desk always fresh. Pet friendly.
 Free wifi,full cable,and central location.ten thumbs up.

I was very impressed with the accommodation here.  The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet.  This is a real gem in the heart of Terrace and only a stones throw from good dining and some excellent craft beer.  The only real beef I had was their free Wifi.  It was spotty and slow.

Cozy, Quaint, Quiet, Clean

Tired from travelling we booked into the Cedars Motel and was shocked when I was advised that they would be taking $100 damage deposit as they have had a lot of fights and damaged property in the past. Then as I was checking in another couple came in and said they wanted a room. The desk clerk started speaking with her and then said to me that she was going to put us all in one unit. I again was shocked and said...well I really don't know them and at that time should have walked out. The room was ok..bed was old and tired and could tell that they had allowed smoking in  the room in the past.  I was not impressed with the whole stay

Overnight Stay

I was part of a group booking in this facility.  Two nights in one room at the start of a trip and a third night in a different room a week later.  There were issues that make this a facility that I would not book on my own.

Positive Points:
1. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, although there was an oder in the hallway that would indicate that someone tried to cover up the smell of cigarette smoke.  (There were several air purifiers plugged in around the hallway.
2. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
3. Good cable TV reception with a lot of programing to choose from.
4. Good location.  Within reasonable walking distance of good restaurants and shopping.  Right next to a 24/7 Denny’s, if you want to stay close by. 

Negative Points:  
1.The lighting was unusually dim in both rooms.  It is hard to do much more than watch TV and sleep after dark. Before leaving for the airport at 4:00 AM I actually had to use my flashlight to make sure that I did not leave anything behind.  Brighter bulbs would do wonders.

2. Some of the clientele appears to be a bit on the rough side.  On the second night of the first stay there was a loud altercation in the hallway between 10:30-11:00.  On the second stay, I called the front desk around mid-day asking that the police be called due to an altercation in the room across the hall.  There was a lot of yelling and the sound of bodies being pushed around.  On my last night I was awakened around 3:00 AM by a woman talking to a cop in the parking lot.  She was a guest because I later saw her coming out of one of the rooms when I left at 4:00 AM.  (A guest?  Hmmm)

3. There are no security locks or deadbolts on the inside of the doors.  (See point #2)

4. I could hear the floor squeaking as others walked around in the hallway and rooms adjacent and across from mine.

5. There is free WiFi but the signal gets weak the farther you get from the lobby.  The first two nights I could not get a signal in my room (#210), so I had to go to the lobby.  When I came back for the third night I was in a room over the lobby (#204) and had a strong signal in my room

6. Here’s a strange one. The toilet paper dispensers in both rooms were 3-4 feet from the toilet.  It is physically impossible to reach the paper without standing up.  I have never seen that before! 

I doubt that I will ever get to Terrence again, but if I do, I will not be staying here.

Once and done

Stayed in Rm 106.   Room had a mini fridge, no microwave but there is one available in the main lobby for guest use.  No clock in the room.   Wi-fi reception not available in room so had to use laptop in the lobby.   Good accommodations for the price and located on Hwy 16 so easy to locate.
