Le Vieux Presbytere Bouctouche

I rented the long term suite for the summer of 2018 and highly recommend this Inn. The grounds are beautiful with a sprawling lawn, beautiful view of the water and my own personal favourite quirky feature the graveyard next door, as the Inn (evident by the name) is a renovated Presbytere or Rectory for clergy and is across the street from the former church, now a museum. The Inn keeper can share a lot more of the history of the property, so interesting! Aside from the building which is so full of character and charm and the beautiful grounds, the highlight would have to be the owners who are friendly, kind, accommodating and just lovely people. I would spend long stretches away from the Inn visiting family and the owner would joke with me upon my return that I was their "resident ghost", such a sense of humour! The area of Bouctouche itself is so pretty, so much to do with the beaches, parks, little restaurants along the main street yet it is not overcrowded in the least. Do yourself a favour if you are visiting the area and book your stay here. Tammy
