Beautiful mountain view, with a nice comfortable room, convinient breakfast and coffee in the morning and friendly staff.

We enjoyed our stay. Overnight stay while travelling. Quiet and friendly.

Best Hot Tub in Blue River after a great day sledding it was needed!

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds. Large window to the parking area allow anyone looking into the room, especially once the lights are on. Blinds or currents are needed.

Motel light and cheerful. Very clean. High ceilings, wide halls. Good size room. Not far to carry luggage. Microwave, refrig. Laundry/cleaning products smell average. Complete continental breakfast, well managed. Good wall art. Nice manager, gave us good walk recommendation. Highway and train noise but that’s to be expected in a small roadside town like this, not a dealbreaker.

Nicely renovated bathroom, very clean and not impacted by highway noise. The Burger shack next door served tasty food. The free continental breakfast got us off to a great start.

I booked the stay at Glacier Inn for my daughter. She was delighted and said on the phone, "This is SO nice!". The lake, chalets onl the walkway around the lake and park nearby were great. I had some trouble getting through to the front desk and kept getting the answering machine. We and our family will stay here again, very nice.

Great staff that were very helpful and friendly. The Lodge is nothing fancy but the beds are comfortable and the room was clean and well maintained. The Continental breakfast was filling and a great way to start our adventure on Murtle Lake. The Lodge is right off the highway, but I didn't hear any traffic noise during the night -- though we did have the A/C running. :)

Very peaceful place. Gas stations and restaurants are in walking distance. The man behind the counter was friendly. The only negative thing I would say is that the water from the tub kept leaking and making pretty loud droplet noises, but that's probably just my unit. Overall, I was really satisfied with my stay.

Blue River is a small hamlet but a convenient place to stop for the might when traveling within BC or between BC and Alberta. Nice clean motel with friendly staff,  and parking good rooms. We would recommend it over the nearby chain motel. Great mountain views on a clear day. Price includes a free - and decent continental-style breakfast.

Convenient Stop on BC Highway #5

Very nice. Our room was on the main floor, and our big picture window faced the forest! We felt like we were in a cabin in the woods! The beds were large and comfy. Lots of pillows.The bathroom was small but nice. I enjoyed the shower. Lots of fluffy towels. The a/c unit was older and a bit loud, but we were able to open the little windows below the main window, and got fresh, cool air that way. Very pleasant. Our room was super quiet! (except for the little fridge that kept making intermittent sounds, and it disturbed my husband's sleep) We enjoyed the continental breakfast in the lobby area. The coffee was very good, and the muffins were fresh & delicious. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. The property is clean and well cared for. We felt safe. We'll stay there again, for sure!

This was a perfect place for my overnight stay to and from my trip to the Okanagan this summer.  The rooms I stayed in were large, the beds were comfortable and the water was hot. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast the following mornings. The selection was perfect and would satisfy most everyone's tastes.

This is a quiet little mountain town so we knew not to expect huge amenities, but we were impressed with the friendly staff and clean rooms. We also loved the Grizzly Snack Shack! Totally worth the wait for delicious roadside food. We took our son to swim and play at Eleanor Park. It was a peaceful and restful stop on our roadtrip.

Check in was efficient and friendly with a quick explanation of what was available in the area. There is a lake close by with a waterslide and changing rooms. After a cold dip, you can warm up in the hot tub. The room was clean. It could do with a little modernization but was a perfectly good overnight stop. The gas station next door is very well stocked with drinks etc. and the Grizzly Food Shack served up enormous portions of food at a reasonable price.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly and ensured I had all of the information I needed for my stay. I only stayed one night as this was just a halfway point during my travel itinerary. The facility was clean. I knocked a star down on Property Condition because the knobs on the AC unit in my room were broken. I could not adjust the temperature or fan speed and eventually just had to unplug it because it was making too much noise. But the Lodge was very quiet overall despite being completely sold out the night I stayed there. I would stay here again.
