The Tulip & Thistle

We were travelling from London for a wedding on Lake Simcoe. The bride had suggested we stay at The Tulip & Thistle and how happy with her choice we was. Tena and I had corresponded over email and she was so helpful with all her information. On arrival, we were made to feel so welcome and what a house! Very traditional with lots of interesting memorabilia around and I couldn't help but be nosey and admire the kitchen, as well as the pretty garden - very spacious indeed. We stayed in the biggest room with a wonderful en-suite, over-looking the garden. A massive bed, a super big bedroom, was delighted and having stayed in Toronto, in a small room, we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was a real treat, with no set times, so we was well accommodated for. Rest assured, you won't have to eat for the rest of the day after Tena's delights - absolutely delicious. A great location for getting around, in a beautiful little town. We also got to attend the Beaverton Big Bite, which was fun. The house has wi-fi and our room had an aircon unit, which was very welcoming. Thank you to Norm and Bud for making us feel so welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was interesting hearing your stories and chatting to you. Your house is beautiful. We couldn't have wished for more - thank you.
