I had a nice big room with a TV, refrigerator and bathtub on my leg. Even though it was hot when I got home, everything cooled down with the fan that was available to us during the night. They offered me Laurent and Line to sit with them in the swing room during the evening. Very kind of them. We started shaking up everything and nothing. Very nice. He has tea or instant coffee, and a microwave oven at our disposal downstairs. Choice of 3 menus for lunch. I took yogurt. He had a small grapefruit entrance. It was very good.

Family Trip

This bed and breakfast is probably one the top 3 B&B's I've ever stayed in... and I've stayed in quite a few. The house is decorated beautifully, the owners are friendly, polite and are amazing cooks. The room we stayed in was lovely, had a comfortable bed, and was exceptionally clean. We had to share a bathroom with another guest, but that was okay, it wasn't crowded when we were there, so it wasn't an issue. Parking is okay, they have a pretty wide driveway that can fit at least 3, possibly more, vehicles. Again, when we were there, there weren't many guests, so parking was not an issue at all during our stay. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at this B&B!

Wonderful!

The place is nicely decorated, it has so many details that I won't be able to describe in this paragraph. I have to mention that is one of the cleanest places I've stayed, there's not a single "mistake". They offer 3 options for breakfast, all of them very good. Their owners are a lovely couple, always willing to help. Thanks a lot for everything!

I have no words to describe my experience!!!!

Wonderful place to stay and a very tasteful, served with a great imagination breakfast. 
The owners were very, very friendly and tended to our needs. 
Between my limited French and their limited English we managed to communicate without any problems.
The room was spotless, and bed was very comfortable.
Shared bathroom was not a problem at all, even though the place was fully booked.
I would recommend this place without any hesitation.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast

Very nice room Champagne with freezer available in the room. The bathroom is to be shared with another room. Nothing to say about cleanliness. We were very well received by our hosts Line and Laurent with whom we shared the tea in the living room. A real pleasure! Breakfast was included with the room. We had the choice between sugar, health and dirt! A real delight! We highly recommend this place.

On top of it!

Simplicity and refinement under the same roof. The hosts are very attentive to the needs of the guests. The themed rooms and lunch are plentiful. The bed is also very comfortable. Line pays special attention to the details, which invites us to take a detour and return to it!

A must near Pessamit!

Although I wonder if booking by booking doesn't stop us from having the best rooms, we had a very small, atticed but very comfortable and very pretty house, beautifully decorated and very comfortable the owners are adorable and it's the best night I've ever had on my holiday in Canada....they stay with us in the evenings and we talked to them like friends....we'll be happy to come back

Laurent and Helen are unforgettable people, welcoming, warm and understanding, an exceptional, clean house, ask the classics if you like romance, the white bedding, comfortable pillows, a little noisy in the evening, because it's on the boulevard.

Wow.

We stayed here for just one night because we wanted to take to ferry from Baie-Comeau to Matane the next morning. The hosts were very (!) charming. They hardly spoke any English, we spoke hardly any French, so communication was a bit difficult — we actually would have wanted to have a longer chat with them, because they both seemed so lovely, but we really enjoyed the tiny bits of conversation we had. The room was as charming as the hosts, we slept fantastically. The shared bathroom was no problem at all. And in the morning a delicious breakfast was served, always a perfect way to begin your day (of traveling). Chute-aux-Outardes and Baie-Comeau don't offer much, both are not really places to spend a longer time at. Not a big deal for us, because we arrived there in the evening, just to get some sleep before taking the ferry to the Gaspé peninsula next morning. So, if you want to do the same, this place is highly recommended. It takes roughly 20 minutes to get to the ferry in Baie-Comeau from this place, so take some time to enjoy the breakfast and say Au revoir.

We spent two weeks in Canada and tried 15 places to sleep; the Gite du Chateau was the best! Meanwhile, the reception; we are welcomed by a gentleman so gracious that it seemed to me that he came into my house. He didn't speak English, but with my school French we agreed...in the end the fact that I only speak French is a black grain in miles of white sand! Park in front of the house for free. The B&B has only three rooms and we got the most beautiful one. Then the room furnished with great taste in a delicious house... we want more? We have to pay in cash, but it's not a problem because we were already prepared.
