I stayed at Rampart Creek hostel again in June, 2022. Not much has changed over the years really. A great hostel manager (Joel), a upgraded wood burning sauna (so totally wonderful), quiet, peaceful surroundings, and a wonderful place to stay a night or two in a genuine authentic Canadian style. This is the "real deal". A campfire pit, a wood- burning sauna, and a glacier fed creek to cool off in after the sauna if you are brave:). Clean kitchen with stove, fridge, potable water, etc. and a common room. And really clean, non-smelly outhouses:). Amazing!! And even wi-fi if you really need it. I hope you don't. Clean, warm (thermostat controlled) cabins as well. This is a place for enjoying nature, good conversation, and talking if you like with other people. This is what defines a truly GREAT hostel experience...
