For those wanting to experience the real Khmer culture and Cambodian scenery, the Hideaway Boutique is the best place to stay in Siem Reap.

The owners, Rossi and Linda, are the most fantastic, friendly and helpful hosts you could ask for.
Linda is a world class cook, and so the in-house food is among the best in the city.There is also a fully stocked wet bar, and Rossi has an excellent knowledge of cocktails!
The staff are just as lovely and very helpful in helping you organise tours and transport. Even the laundry service is superb!

The resort is brand new, and has been constructed and finished to a very high standard, with high quality fittings and furniture. Every room has a spotless bathroom and air conditioning, and is extremely comfortable; the indoor common areas are expansive and similarly comfortable, and the outdoor area and pool are great for an afternoon's relaxation. The beautiful, quiet countryside surrounds complete the atmosphere.

Rossi has succeeded in cultivating a warm, familial environment; I felt right at home during my stay and can't wait to get back!

Spotless, quiet, superb food, unbeatable value! 11/10

The hotel is very unusual. It's really far away, it takes a long time to get there and you have to be ready. The local tuckers don't know where to go, many don't understand Latin and are poorly oriented on maps. So getting from the center is not that easy. The road from Seemripa is not lighted at all, and getting back from the center will have to be in the dark, so the bike option is out of the question. The hotel is in the village. And it gives its charm. You can walk on the red roads and look at the lives of the Khmer peasants: cows, chickens, etc. The local people are welcoming, waving and always smiling. The hotel is new and clean, the pool is clean, the greeting and the staff is ready to help if you're ready to help.

Okay, but far away.

We decided to stay at Hideaway due to the cheap price compared to similar hotels in the area, however what we got went far beyond our expectations! The hotel is brand new and the rooms have everything you could possibly need including a very comfortable bed.
Linda and Rossi were the perfect hosts always making sure our stay was enjoyable and making us feel at home all the time. The food was all excellent and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing experience that we would highly recommend!

Fantastic in every way!

If you want to avoid the feverish hustle and bustle of the city centre, we recommend the HIDEAWAY Boutique Resort, which is very easily and quickly accessible by tuktuk or taxi. We were very satisfied with the hospitality, service and kindness of the staff. The hotel is new and well-arranged, very clean and comfortable, with a nice swimming pool.

A cheap three-star hotel in Siem Reap

Staying here made our stay in Siem Reap even more enjoyable.  Rossi and Linda and their staff were accommodating and helpful.  I would not hesitate to stay here on another visit to Cambodia.  Tuk tuk service was available along with laundry service.

I have nothing but good to say.  The amenities were great, food excellent, and the staff went that extra mile!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. As noted by others, Rossi and Linda add their personal touch and do whatever they can to accommodate their guests. All the staff were pleasant and polite.  We appreciated the ability to communicate in English as well!  It was so nice to stay in new, clean rooms!  Great value for the nightly rate. There is plenty of public space in which to gather with family or friends. The food was delicious!  The hotel may not be in the heart of the city, but mopeds and tuk-tuks are always available for transportation. We enjoyed our walk in the surrounding countryside, too.

Very Welcoming!

We stayed here for a couple weeks and it was amazing! The service was just unbelievably good, and it is extremely clean. The food is fantastic. There really is no words to explain how well they treated us. Extremely hospitable. We would most definitely recommend staying here! 

Amazing! 

This hotel has a Briton with his family. Very friendly people. Taxi, in the form of a motorbike, costs at least 3 dollars, and we had a problem, at night it's difficult to call a taxi (unless you order in advance), so it's more convenient to rent a moped, for example.
