LES PARIGOTS guest house

In all Cambodia I've traveled this was the only accomodation which has polite and helpful staff...If you're heading to Vietnam this place is ideal to arrange Vietnamese Visa for only 41$,in other parts of Cambodia prices are 60$+ so try to make it here...Location is not ideal but you can easily get to Pub Street in app 10min walking,or take a TukTuk for 1$...Rooms are large with comfy beds,toillet could be cleaner,but for Cambodian strandards it has a decent look...Budget accomodation,the cheapest I slept in Cambodia and the best...Great laundry service also...

Not really clean, maybe of they having renovation in their hotel, a lot of dust on the ground. But overall it was a good stay, with this price you can't blame more. Good for short day stay. Btw don't buy ticket to Phnom Penh at here because they sell more than expensive than other agents.

Nice Place to Stay

Short stay

When coming here I expected a lot better. The blankets were stained, the air conditioner leaked all over our floor, the toilet was broken - and wouldn't flush properly to.

This place has a lot of potential to be really nice - the staff members are lovely too, it's just a shame how bad our room was and how poorly it had been cleaned and serviced. 

I'd go elsewhere 

It is REALLY cheap but we have been in others of the same price and they were quite better.

Big room, no windows.
The toilet didnt work, we told them about it and they just clean  it and the Next day..The same. It dndt work  during the 3 nights .

We leave It and change of hostel.

3$ for the bikes but many others places rent them for 1$

Most of the staff dont speak english.

No A/C just a  fan - not enough!

Not a good experience

The first thing that surprised us about Lest Parigots was that the room was nothing like the pictures they show on tripadvisor or even on a poster at the main entrance of the hotel. 
We also were told that if we wanted air condictioning we had to pay the double for a room. This was not on the room description. It was unfair as getting to know that we would have chosen another place. Anyway, we stayed 3 nights with a fan in such a warm tropical weather. 
The room was dirty. There was even a bag of rubbish from the previous guests. In three days nobody did the room, neither bring more toilet paper.
But the worst,NO DOUBT, was the personal. They seem so so greedy: always trying to sell us a trip to Ankor wat or to wherever, ALWAYS offering us prices on excursions and blabla..Of course I understand it is your job and you want a profit from the services you can sell to your guests..But your job is also to help them to have a pleasant stay and they DIDNT. For instance, we asked about some help to plan our trip (how to get to Pursat) They said they didnt know. They only wanted t sell us their fixed excursions. We decided to stay one night more because it was the water festival, but then we heard about sleeping buses to keep traveling so we told them TWO DAYS BEFORE that in the end we wanted to stay 2 nights...I saw so many people at reception on this day asking for a room on the day we left (because of the festivity). They did not give us the money back. The keep the money for that room, even thought we told them in advance and they were going to have that room occupied.

When I travel, for me it is not about having a good room, with warm water and clean sheets..it is also about local nice people who help you because you are not from there and have short time to find out things...They were so unpolite and so greedy....They should not work with people
