The bathroom is always clean, as is the whole area. In the apartments all the conditions are created for even long-term living.

A magical Christmas!!

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived at the airport the pick-up driver we’d booked didn’t come but the owner came and picked us up himself. There are lots of nice and affordable restaurants in the area as well as bars and a supermarket. The light in the bathroom didn’t work while the shower was running, which was a bit difficult because we had to shower in the dark but that was the only issue with the room. Breakfast coffee was delicious.

Pleasant stay

The hotel is fine and you have everything you need. It's just the little things that are missing. At first the towels were missing. The rooms are dark in the Konoli style and outdated but clean. Wifi is perfectly fine. Breakfast as usual in Asia. Nothing special. The pool has the best times behind it. Many tiles are missing and it wasn't very clean either. Price performance correct. Staff very friendly and not intrusive.

A hotel with typical Asian charm

Was given a room as a solo traveller with a king size, double and single bed in. The windows wouldn't lock and the safe was broken. The only room with a balcony where everyone sat and smoked therefor the room stunk of smoke.As a single traveller felt very vunerable. Spoke to staff and finally got moved the following day. Happy with the room given.The pool was really good to return to after a long day at Angor What, and late in the evening. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Breakfast cooked after you have decided what you would like. Staff good.

Eventually got sorted

Sometimes when choosing a hotel in the internet you can be disappointed with your choice when you arrive at your destination.  But NOT if you choose this hotel!
Mohai far exceeded my expectations!    FYI: they recently changed the name of the hotel to: Big K Angkor Residence

1. The staff was great!  Helpful, considerate and really concerned about the comfort of your accommodations.
2. The hotel is housed in an older building but it is in excellent repair and has an atmosphere and charm that you don't find in newly constructed facilities.
3. Conveniently located near markets, nightlife, restaurants and financial services.
4. A short commute by tuk tuk, van or taxi to the premier attractions in the area.  Mainly Angkor Wat and the the other temple sites.
5. There is a beautiful and well maintained pool area.

The room I had was very spacious and very clean.  A shower with on-demand hot water.  There is the expected flat screen TV, WiFi, daily bottled water and breakfast was included.  The housekeeping staff was also friendly and flexible based on my schedule.

I have lived in China for several years and traveled in east and southeast Asia quite a bit and stayed in a number of hotels.  This hotel is in my top 2 favorites of all time!  If I return to the area I will definitely stay here again and I can recommend it without reservation.

The price point was excellent.  A excellent value for an inexpensive, high quality establishment.

A great value in Siem Reap as a base to explore the area and Angkor Wat

We booked this hotel for 4 nights with very high expectations, after having seen on the web the opinions and photos about it, but when we arrived we were very disappointed. The old, antiquated hotel and the dirty room, with a leakage of water in the toilet, noisy, an air conditioning device that broke down sending cold air directly to our face and a noisy fridge. We didn't let this ruin our vacation and after the first night we lost the money on the reservation and went to a very nearby hotel that was much better. To be fair, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was not at all good.

 Disappointing.

Amazing place with friendly staff..short walk to Pub St..but excellent restaurants next door..spent lots of time next to pool..always clean..lucky to have found this small hotel

Amazing friendly hotel

This is an older hotel that is located near all the night markets and pub street. It has large rooms with plenty of storage space. We stayed here with a family of 11 and had a great time. The staff is amazing and very accomodating. They made us feel very comfortable.

Cozy hotel with excellent location for an excellent price

We got here at 8:00 a.m., didn't sleep all night.The people at the hotel at 14:00.The reception girl said that the room wasn't ready yet and they'd hurry.My wife and I went for a walk and left things at the reception.We went to the café and sat down, but got back at 10:00, we wanted to go to bed and be happy, seeing how we were tired, we got up and settled down right away, but not in every hotel.Yes, welcome drinks were also offered.Thank you very much.

A worthy hotel.

Good location, staff are helpful & friendly. Breakfast, WiFi & aircon are all good. They will arrange for a tuk tuk to pick you up at airport free of charge. No mirror in the bedroom or socket in the bathroom so difficult to dry your hair
