Well maintained, neat. The royal family still staying here means it is well kept. Kids get to see items which the royals use and in good measure. Not too much in abundance. Can create stories for kids around what you see. Good to visit

This apartment building was built in 2009 and is still in very good condition. Rooms come with a large kitchen separated by a door and with one or 2 separate bedrooms. With a price around $30 a night is a very good value. We were given a 2 bedroom apt though we only reserved an one bedroom apt they let us have it since the living room is much larger.  However we had to move out after a week since we had a long 2 week stay and others reserved the 2 bedroom apt. The 2nd bedroom was locked, but we still got to use a mattress in the living room for our kids. There were only 2 office staff that I saw during my stay. The lady in the office hardly ever smiled and was not friendly. Mr. Sameth who spoke much more English was friendly and seemed to value customer service.
 
Be prepared to pay your bill to stay there up front on the first day and have your passport handy. They also asked us to put down a $100 USD security deposit. They charge electricity and water based on your usage and give you a bill at the end. We used the air conditioning 80% of the time we were in the rooms even during the while night. Our costs were about $9 a day for utilities.
 
The pool has a small wading area, adequate for 3-4 kids and a fairly large 1.5 meter pool. The kitchen comes furnished with basic cooking ware, a large regular sized fridge, microwave, rice cooker, and stove range. The gym had weights and several bikes and a treadmill. The location is in a rich neighborhood near Victoria hospital and Blue Pumpkin bakery café. 2 Korean restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood itself though is quiet and residential. Because of some powerful neighbors in the government it never went out of electrical power during our stay.

I stayed here for 18 months and enjoyed the peace and quiet and the staff were wonderful. Great pool and handy to airport for business travel. The apartments are generous sizes and I had a two bedroom one. Good internet speed,Thank you Royal residence for a lovely stay in Kampuchea Cambodia. Ah khun cherun.
