19 Happy Guesthouse Backpacker

Definitely redefined my interpretation of the word 'Happy', I loved staying at 19 Happy Hostel. This is your living room to the city and a great base. The food is surprisingly good and their coffee is AMAZING. The manager is helpful, even when I accidentally tried to break into the wrong room when I was lost and my friend locked himself out of his room.

Stayed here for 2 nights and the staff was really helpful! We had a private double bed room, which was very hot because of no air-con but we got an extra fan when we asked for it. The staff was super-welcoming and helped us with whatever we asked about. The restaurant that belongs to the hostel also has good food. 

Honestly this hostel is great, chill vibes and in the middle of everything this is my second time staying here. The rooms are nice and get cleaned daily. And the owner and everyone that works here they put so much effort into their work. Anyone that comes here would have a great time. Highly recommended 

Best backpacker hostel to find cheap but high quality service and rooms, the staff is super helpful, you'll find a pool table, places to chill, affordable restaurant with really nice local and western food, just a cool atmosphere all in all! Would definitely recommend for anybody! 

Stayed here twice in my travels so far through Cambodia, really chilled atmosphere staff are always helpful and up for a laugh, air conditioning in the rooms was beautiful, would highly recommend to anyone traveling through Phnom Penh

Me and 4 friends from UK came for one night wish we stayed more, rooms are basic but the staff are so so helpful & welcoming, so chilled out, just the atmosphere you want on your travels. I recommend :-) 

Had a really nice and comfortable stay here at Happy House. The staff were extremely helpful and helped us with trips and bus tickets. Beds were comfy and the air con was really good! Location is central so easy to find places. Would stay here again :)

Stayed at 19 Happy House for a few nights as I decided what to do in Cambodia. Private room was comfortable and the hostel is in a very central, and good location, walking distance from main sights and river.
Food was really good and nice area to sit in and watch Phnom Penh go by.
Staff were always friendly and helpful. Were able to help with suggestions of things to do and transportation. I feel like the staff can help with anything you need.
Had two trips to Phnom Penh and stayed at the same hostel the second time, due to the reliability of the staff and the great location.

Best place to get a cheap dorm, friendly staff and helpful boss.Locate on street 13 at Phsar Kandal 1 next to LS Travel Agency. Cheap dorm spend less and get the best out of your time in Cambodia, Everything can be found there.

BED BUGS!!!!
1. the dorms are dirty, especially bathrooms. We were moved to a private room the third night and there were bedbugs in our bed! 
2. The staff was friendly in the beginning, but when we experienced bed bugs in our room they would not give us a refund! 
3. Be aware of how much you are paying, we experienced several times that they said we had to pay more than what we ordered for. So be aware of how much money you order for! Check that you get back the right amount of money.
