Mekong Imperial Boutique Guesthouse

This is a small hotel located in a travel agency. The location is excellent. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance and there is a lot going on late into the night. You can walk everywhere from here. The room was nice and clean and a good price for the riverside area. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel well placed facing the Mekong near the royal palace and in the tourist district. No restaurant in the hotel but next to lots of small restaurants. Clean and nice room without window. Travel agency in the hotel for organizing a result of the stay. Friendly staff. No public areas . Good Location and friendly Staff.

Great location, nice room, friendly staff

Nice room and good location

The location was wonderful, with many excellent bars and restaurants surrounding it. On the whole, the room was good, although there was no window which made it hard to wake up. Also, the tap was broken in the bathroom sink (although it still worked fine). The staff were friendly, but when faced with a question about transport, they seemed reluctant to help or give us information. It was nice and quiet with a comfy bed and good air conditioning.

Good location

Waited over 20 minutes to check as the front desk doubles as a booking office for day trips and bus tickets .room was dirty we stayed 5 days and never seen a cleaner at any time sink was blocked which i complained about and was told there had been a power cut not sure what the connection was .we stayed in room 101 on the front great view but traffic noise all day and night .it was to late to cancel booking so ended up staying .

Due to mistakes made by this hotel we encountered numerous issues and had to pay fees that should not have occurred. We originally cancelled our accommodation with Meekonh however they state that the cancellation never occurred. Upon arrival into Phnom Penh they sent a car which picked us up (we thought the car was from the right hotel). Due to this mistake we spent 2hours in a car, $20 for the ride to the Mekong and then had to drive to the correct hotel. Mekong also charged us $45 for one nights accommodation. I have sent them emails with proof of the cancelation, including their response to my cancellation confirming this and that I would not be charged any fees.
Since sending these emails I have received no response from Mekong. 

This was a pretty horrible way to start our trip and we have been scammed by this hotel. We have all required proof however their way of dealing with the issue is to ignore us.

I would not recommend this hotel what so ever. It may be a great location but if you have any issue then you are sure to be screwed over. Very disappointing and exhausting
