On arrival meet by Jerry first class booking made easy, shown to our room or shall I say suite fantastic, food has been absolutely superb, it is not often you can truely say that the staff could not do any more.
My only comment is that the table clothes at dinner could be a little cleaner,  it that is me being picky because I cannot find any other fault.

Mantra Angkor Boutique Villa is near from Angkor Park and is hold by a competent and gentle staff. Rooms are clean and very cheap. An ideal spot to visiting the temples early in the morning. Many services (laundry, buses, tuk tuk ect...).

Spent three nights here as a base to visit Angkor Wat. Basic but ok. Didn't sample the food as there was a restaurant up the street (turn right, cross road, turn left, on your right) cracking food and so cheap. $5 for two meals and two beers.
The hotel does breakfast but it's not included in price. Rooms were good. We opted for a fan instead of aircon as it was $10 a night cheaper. Wouldn't do it again. Pay the ten bucks. 
Hotel booked us a tuktuk for $20 a day to visit Angkor Wat. You have to have one. Brilliant deal. Worth every penny.
Staff are cheerful and helpful.

Stress free stay.

The ideal hotel for free travellers

most importantly:
1. i was very clearly bitten by bed bugs. 100% sure (no bites at night and then a line of telltale bedbug bites in the morning). when i showed the front desk the tons of bites all over my arm he accused me of get bit when being around town. i insisted on a different room which was given to us thankfully BUT they rented out our old room after nothing more than routine cleaning before we left. Bed bugs can spread fast and they clearly aren't taking them seriously. 
2. the rooms are disgusting- sheets had large yellow stains, spotty stains that looked like blood, bathroom had clogged sinks and lots of shaven remnants from previous customer, and general grim and black specks of dirt all over the bed between the sheets. LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THEIR PICTURES.
3. the general cafe is more like the staffs hang out area. anytime we wanted service for food or drinks (most other options are a ways away) we had to go find someone or wait around for someone to notice us. the staff was often in and out of uniforms so we were often confused as to who was working and who was just hanging out and constantly using the pool table. some of the people they had hanging around would leer at female guests and generally created an uncomfortable atmosphere in the evening making us feel like our choice to have a couple beers was inconveniencing them.
4. inconsistencies : we were charged more for renting bikes than what was posted. the hours of the kitchen and hangout area was at their whim (one night they said the kitchen was closed at 730p, dinnertime?). every morning at breakfast we had a second cup of coffee (very small cups) with no mention of charges. our last day someone mentioned a second coffee would cost more and then when we were leaving they tried to bill us for our previous coffees. We just refused and left, dumbfounded at this point by how these guys got good reviews.

this place was bad and dirty but more than anything else they have bed bugs and aren't doing anything about it!!!!!

****BED BUGS **** WORST HOTEL EVER 

The location is good close to Angkor but that's it !!!

Its not perfectly clean, big stains on the sheets and we found plastic in our breakfast !!! 

But it got worst when we asked them to do our laundry 1,5$/kg
When we got our clothes back all our white clothes (8tee shirts) we found out the next day that our color clothes as well were completely distroyed by I don't know what (cf pictures) 
When we asked to see the Manager 
We ask him to get our money back from the laundry and to give us a discount, he got angry and threaten us to call the police to check his Washing machine 
Never apologised for what happened
Worst expérience in South east Asia in 3 months !!!!
