The lady was really friendly, it was right on the beach - tuk tuk drivers tended to struggle unless you had it written down and said it was on the beach name. Room was very basic but comfortable bed and decent shower and bathroom. Can tell they're still doing it up slowly but was fine for one nights stay before Koh Rong! 

Stayed here for one night before visiting Koh Rong island and was pleasantly surprised, it is directly opposite the beach but just far enough down the road you don't here all the noise from the beach bars and restaurants which is nice. 

Only a 10 minute walk into town and the main streets of restaurants.

The room itself was basic but what we expected, a twin room came with two double beds which was nice as they're usually singles.

Quite a few mosquitos but the owner leaves a huge can of bug spray in each room which killed them all in heartbeat, no mosquito net provided but luckily we had our own.

Huge bathroom with a powerful medium temperature shower which was perfect as the temperature and humidity made for two very sweaty travellers.

The guesthouse has lovely outdoor seating areas all in the shade with comfy chairs and some hammocks. 

Really good location and would recommend if you want to be away from the noise of the main beach.

Basic but comfortable!

Peaceful + simple

The owner was friendly and helpful; gave us some advice and told us to be careful in certain areas after dark. The town itself is nothing special; the best Western place to eat at is Jim’s burgers.

You can find better and cheaper accommodation around, no doubt. We only stayed one night and found the rooms really basic and there was no security; the bathroom was full of mosquitoes too. Look around and find something better.

Stayed at this guesthouse for 2 nights, booked on agoda.com. Yes, it is across the street from the beach but what every reviewer fails to mention, is that the beach that it is across from is the local beach which is absolutely filthy with trash and garbage up and down the beach. The water is filled with bottles, cans, diapers, and just trash floating in the water. No way, would we even begin to swim in that filthy beach. And if you are planning to get peace and quiet, it won't be here as every night across the street, they have LOUD music playing until 2-3 a.m. with that non-stop bass booming. The area that this guesthouse is located has trash everywhere, even in front of the guesthouse. Also, agoda.com (and booking.com) do not mention that the guesthouse does not take credit cards (even though agoda.com requires you to provide credit card details when you make the reservation). they only take cash at the place.The pictures posted on agoda and booking.com do not represent reality. There are much better places to stay in the area and we would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Bad Location and Horrific Loud Music Noise All Night

This 'guesthouse' was as disgusting as a garbage disposal site! It smelled like mold and humidity, the floor was filthy and so dirty with God knows what, the toilet was disgusting, the beds were almost wet from the humidity in the room. 
When we arrived we met 2 staff, one drunk as hell and one local who was very nice. 
I would never ever place my feet there again- I would rather sleep on the beach then! My clothes in my closed bag smelled like mold after being in the room for only 8 hours! Don't don't don't go there! The smell was so bad that it hurts to breath through the nose...
