Ten103 Treehouse Bay

Ten103 is not for everybody, but for many, it is just amazing. We spontaneously flew to the island for 3 days with a group of 9 young people. The island, the wonderful people, the staff and the nature made it an indescribable experience that we will remember for a lifetime. They also took care of getting us on our next plane as fast as possible. A true wild island paradise. It is a really special place and we all felt like at home. It is worth a lot more than the few dollars we paid for it. I will return.

Loved every second of it. The beach is great for kids, the staff are helpful, the walks are long but good and the food is great too (although if you’re going to walk to the fishing village careful of what they charge, very expensive for what you get).



Ten103 is the most magical special place I have found in my world travels. The island holds a special place outside of the hustle and bustle of life where I found deep contentment and personal freedom. The tree house vibe is truly a barefoot in the jungle, raw with yourself experience. I loved waking up to the view of the ocean, the sounds of the jungle, and fresh opportunity to explore or relax that each day at Ten103 provides. The food was incredibly delicious, catered to my dietary restrictions, and nurtured my curiosity for local cuisine, as well as comfort food. I am already counting the days until I return!

Words can not describe this amazing place but I'll try. 

For a true Cambodian island adventure, Ten103 on Koh Ta Kiev is that last destination. 

It's location is great, perfect sunsets every evening with the best selection of sundowner cocktails to make each colour changing minute that little better.

I stayed for a week longer then planned coz the vibe was so relaxing and inviting, with some of the best food I've had during 3 years in Asia.
Had lots of laughs chatting with all the great staff, baring and Khmer. Now we are one big FB family and I'll be back to see everyone again soon for sure.

Good selection of accommodation with various size bungalows, 10 bed dorm and 10 hock dorm, all beach front views. No ac or fans but not needed coz the cooling sea breeze makes up for it and that air is so much more fresher then anywhere else I've been before.

Yes the amenities are basic with bucket shower and squat toilet but it's jungle living and all part of the adventure. 

During my time there I saw all the hard work the staff put into supplying us all with fresh water, ice, food and drink. They're constantly working to keep the place running smoothly, make sure the customers are always happy and their never too tired to chat, learn and laugh with everyone.

Happy to be part of Ten103's big family and can not wait to come back again soon, for longer next time.

A fantastic, rustic beach resort right by the water.  An excellent place to chill out and forget about time.  Basic, but sufficient shared amenities, helpful, friendly staff, amazing bungalows.  Quiet island to explore at leisure.

Very good spot ! We stayed there with a group of friends , with different budgets so some of us sleeped in the hammocks some in the dormitory and other in bungalows , everybody had a great time , the bungalows have stunning views , are open so you are sleeping with the sounds of the sea ... it’s amazing. The restaurant is good and the staff is super helpful and can manage everything for you it’s a super team well organized! 

Ten 103 has a very beautiful beach with lits if hammocks, swings and places that provide shade. The bungalows are nuce and have mosquito nets. Of course it doesn't have "real" showers or toilets and you have to use buckts because it's an undeveloped island but that's all part of the charm of this place. They have happy hour for beer and cocktails, great sangria and good food.

Our stay in the Ten103 treehouse was the most disappointing hostel we have ever been.

Firstly, when we got there, they put us in a hut which was not part of ten103. They put us in a hut from another resort which was abandoned at the time, used to be called SeaGarden (the signs from this hotel were still up). So you can imagine when you get there and all your surroundings are demolished/abandoned/not taking care of. Not a good first impression.

Secondly, our hut was nothing but disgusting and not hygienic at all. I doubt if they ever changed the bed linen, the mattress cover sheet & pillows were so smelly. There was also not a bed sheet, only a old polar blanket to cover yourself that I dared to touch. So we had to cover ourselves with our towels. The mosquito net had so many holes as well. The room smelled horrible. And most importantly, due to the room not being cleaned and maintained, we found a rat one night!

Thirdly, the closest bathroom to our hut was an abandoned toiled (from the previous resort SeaGarden) which was not in use nor cleaned by the staff. I can't describe the conditions in which these toilets were, unbelievable & unforgettable. In addition to that, the toilets from the Ten103 property (which were really far from our hut) where in such bad conditions as well.

Not to mention that the staff doesn't look they are working there permanently as they don't care that much about this place.

Last, my husband and myself have got sick (stomach flu) from our stay in this hostel. Not sure if it was food poisoning or the not hygienic conditions of the premises/hut/toilets/kitchen, but we sure got it from there.

I would definitely not recommended to stay in this place.

So disappointing...

It was such a nightmare to me, the bungalow was so dirty, there are sands on the bed, I don't know if they ever cleaned that room tbh. The bathroom, it was worse than my words I gonna say here, it was worse than a horror movie, dirty, smelly and the water was dark like wtf, I just spent 1 minute enough to shower than I got out instantly. 

The worst thing is the management I think, the French guy, was not friendly at all, when I asked about the island and stuff he said I asked too much questions and walked out, his attitude was so rude. The staffs somehow was nice. I will never in a million years stay in this place one more time. No ma'am not again.
